Scores at 6 with Brooks 61, without 63. Priced at 52. I am happy if he continues to average 61 with Brooks playing.

    Priced 53.9

Was initially keen on him but thinking he might be a perfect Origin period buy as will have 2 byes out of the way after R13

If you add subtract the nine points or so per game that Boyd got kicking goals to Schoupp's average last year, he starts to look like a cut price keeper at CTR. Here's hoping! It would mean I could ditch Talau.

Expected to see a bit more love for Adam Elliott. Priced at 42 averaged 48.8 as a starting lock last season. New team and all but plenty of minutes freed up with Klemmer and Barnett moving on.

Might be one of those awkward guys that ends up scoring just below keeper level

he's never left my team. the knights have lost klemmer & barnett their 2 work horse forwards so elliott i assume will be expected to take on this role & i expect him to get 60-70 mins

Lots and lots of sub-gun value at MID & EDG.

Elliott has never left my team for a second

I have also got Barnett, Niukore, Faitala-Mariner, and Hopgood locked in with similiar upsides Very Happy

I think Brooks is going to have a better year this year (in real life terms). Whether that impact Doueihi in Fantasy or not I am not sure.

I think Doueihi is a safer bet than Hastings though, and would rather spend the extra cash to get him

Doueihi should have an even better year this year than the previous 2:
    - Locked in with a defined role as the 6 without worrying about being moved around.
    - Not coming back from injury (played 2 games off the bench last season for scores of 13 and 32).
    - Behind a much better forward pack and with a great 9 feeding him the ball to get time and space.
    - Going to have either iPap or Bateman as his EDG partner to work with, will help give him time, space and great options to use as they can't just rush up on him with one of those guys to slip the ball to.

I have him mate second mid I picked in my side and hasn’t left any of my drafts. Before he got that osteo pubis pelvis injury last year he avg 54 in 54mins. I’m big on him. I think he plays 60mins.

Maybe a little bit but I already have a few Knights on my radar and that’s making me a bit nervous as it is as I don’t think they’ll go too well.

At the 650-700k price point for a hooker I’d be more keen on Mahoney. He’s co Captain now at his new club and I think the Dogs will improve. Mahoney has shown he can score well before too if you look at how he started in 2020 and 21. I’m interested in him. I’m expecting Ciraldo won’t let him rush out of the line as well like he did at Parra.

Buying him then defeats the thought process of buying someone at a 54 average to average 60.

He’s lost his ‘value’ then surely? and you are buying someone priced at 60 to average 60

Broncos are playing Wynnum in 5 minutes if anyone needs a league fix (i dont).

No one relevant to fantasy or anywhere near the broncos best 17 are playing.

For example if Doueihi averages 60 up to bye you get 60*11 + 35 (rough EMG score) = 695

If you compare to someone with better bye schedule at similar price (e.g. Robson for argument's sake with no byes until after R13) you only need Robson to average 695/13 (53.5) to match Doueihi in early part of season

Also gives chance to see how he/Tigers perform under new coach - would be buying as a keeper regardless so it's just about which keeper offers either value/points

That’s is though I’m buying him at 54 to average 60 and be a cut price keeper.

Finding the value early season. Sort of like a sub gun. Maybe I should patent that thought process?

Smoothy auditioning for a top 30 contract and Sailor and Mariner playing but I’m not watching.

Dolphins play tonight I. Katoa and Te Whare are playing. Probs tells you they aren’t in plans for their best 17 but most of us already knew that.
