Paul Turner looks an interesting buy at $270k. Has 2 big minute games, scoring in the 40s in each.

Ezra Mam who moves into the No.6 jersey with Tyson Gamble sidelined after developing some lower leg soreness after training yesterday which requires further investigation.

Sounds like Gamble hasn't been dropped. He's played well in Reynolds absence and they've combined for a few wins. I don't think Mam has surged ahead of him form wise, could be a potential trap.

Gamble picked up a leg injury at training

Mam probably holds spot so long as his form warrants tho

I think Madge could be a better fit for the Warriors than Flanno, Justin Morgan or Paul Green. Would love to see him work alongside a Kiwi coach as assistant. He worked in Super League so does not have that "Australian only" mentality.

He already coaches the Kiwi national side. Have a feeling he might want a rest after the Tigers though. He might also be tired of working at places that can't get it right off the field - Tigers, NZRL.

Would like to see him at the warriors, just to see Loomers reaction tbh

Bethany_B wrote:I've come up with a new plan for trading this week, please feel free to poke holes in it.

Hastings to DBrown - Bags has averaged 60 this year when he hasn't been moved to centre

Ponga to Mulitalo - I've already waxed lyrical about why I want him, but TLDR: Sharks always go left

Billy Smith to Dockar-Clay - Need money and a HOK this week, ZDC does both those things for me and seems to have taken that Dogs bench spot in the wake of Barrett's sacking. I'm not expecting much here, just 20ish points and a warm body.

This would leave me 7+4 trades and 58k bank, so yes, I am cutting it close with trades and this is a risky play, but I was planning to trade all three of these guys anyway. Leaves me the following side - if I can end up keeping RFM, MKing and Elliott, then I'm only one spot short of my final 17 with 7+4 trades left.

    Cook
    Haas, Ipap, Matto
    Angus, RFM
    Munster, Cleary
    Tago, Mulitalo
    May, Hynes, Ramsey

    Cotter, DBrown, MKing, Elliott

    Kiraz, Koula, Dockar-Clay, Vailea

I like the DBags trade only, the rest are sideways imho. A cash grab is OK but what about Vailea, he is out for 4+rounds?

Iffy on Mam’s scoring potential anyway, it’s very much A-Rey’s show when he’s playing, I don’t think Mam will be hitting the heights he has been

Gamble has been doing OK at 6 and they were getting wins, I agree, If anything Mam should take Walters spot, bet Mam would be better in any role.

Would get Mam if Gamble was in, say, jersey 20. Not doing it when he's out with a minor injury.

Yeah that's my plan for now, especially with the news of Gamble's injury meaning Mam isn't in on form

Seems like all origin players named to start except the Cowboys players but they are on the extended bench so there's still a chance.

    people jumping on Averillo?

    named at 1 coming off 2 80 minute games putting up 45 (2 tries) and a 36.

might look to clean up my 18-21

Cody Walker did just fine next to Reynolds. Mam isn't relying on kick meters to score well, is a strong runner of the ball and creates opportunities, very much in the Cody mold.

Prefer Mam and Turner in that price range, planning to bring in both this week, along with Klemmer.

Left wing with Simo right I would assume. Only issue would be being outside notorious ball hog Waqa Blake
