I had omicron. It was the secondary chest infection that came with it had me crook for 14 days. Resuming training was short of breath for a bit.

I've had Omicron and was fine after being a bit washed out for a day. Mrs Rhino had it and would not have been able to play NRL the next week. Both triple-vaxed. This is pretty anecdotal and we're both quite a lot older and less athletic than Fermor or Grant or Jones

My missus got it and she's a pretty active and athletic person. She was much more quickly short of breath for about 1-2 weeks after. Could be that these blokes don't see reduced performance, but certainly might play less minutes.

Adding to the Omicron diversion, if they have anything like long Covid then they're not training properly and they're not getting picked. I doubt it's a factor for anyone who's been named.

We are well over 80% of all NRL contracted players having had covid already. Not many left to get it.
Haas and Carrigan both took a little while to get back to full speed. By a little qhile i think it was just the first week back

We are going to see people get it a second time. I know a few people who had it as recently as mid-Jan who have caught it again. Triple vaxxed too.
