So you’re saying not having Hynes is a mistake?

I imagine M King was popular but a lot of that 2k jumped on R2 and R3

Your rank is mostly because of round 1 captain choice who was injured at the start of the game. Lost ~160 points to those that captained Haas.

If my quick SQL query is correct, 1708 of the king owners in the current top 2000 had him from the start of the season.

After that number 8 on the list is Papy at 1788, so falls off steeply.

You can pretty much gauge how your season is going by how many of them are in your team. I have 5 of them, with rank 11k after round 3, (missing Haas and Tago).

After only a couple of rounds, of course the people who own the highest scoring players are going to get ranked higher.

If lazy ass Fifita had busted out a century last night then his ownership in the top 2000 would shoot up as well.

Also, I have every one of the top 8 players there (started with all except Haas) , but sadly I ain't near the top 2000. Probably because I didn't captain Haas in Rd 1, or Hynes in Rd3

From memory King was around 12% ownership to start round 1. Is the only one that wasn't around 30%+ to start the season.

My captaincy choices have been terrible this far.

    Mahoney - 72
    Mahoney - 51
    Sexton - 44

    Hopefully this week is better

I'm just dirty Fifita didn't start like this last season, would've been me and Multiple Scorgasms in the top 2 after 3 weeks.

Most of the top 2000 also started with Ilias I bet, how good are they really running with such a dud cow.

An interesting stat is the ownership of Ilias @ 1451 of the top 2000 teams, despite being about the worst performed popularly owned player, his ownership is double what it is overall.

It seems to indicate that he was a bad pick that was common in serious player's teams, who got the rest of the picks right, so was picked more often than in casual teams.

    OR

The alternative hypothesis is that many casuals just picked all the most popular players, assuming that would set them on the right path.

Could potentially be lots of players that don't really know what they are doing at the top. Just selecting the highest owned players got them in the top 2,000.

His are the doubled captaincy scores, so worse than yours by quite a bit.

Like some of the other posts previously having Fifita & Sexton I gain 2,876 ranks...That is much more than I was expecting I expected a little gain.
The subject of trades is important. Myself I'm a trade whore & usually run out of trades by rounds 18-19 but having 4 gifted from round 20 is a godsend for someone like me. Every year I vow to conserve trades & don't. I've maxed traded so far & will in round 5 when I get Cleary.

Hate to be that guy but surely Sexton should get the try assist for Brimsons try no?

Also, thoughts on playing Leo Thompson over Max King?

I just heard King isn't 100% and might not even play or be on reduced minutes. Playing the storm aswell so I'm putting him down for 20 points.

I don't think owning Ilias has much bearing on your rank or fantasy ability at this point of the season. I've had him since the start but he hasn't been in my 17 once so he's irrelevant to my rank
