Who would you leave out of Thompson, Jones, Nanai, King, and Tuilagi? I think MKing gets >25 mins with that bench, so at the moment I'm between Nanai and Tuilagi. Any one word replies would be appreciated Smile

I'm selling Bully and Coates for May and Jones this week, which leaves me with $223k bank and the following side.

    Randall
    Haas, Ipap, JKing
    Nanai, Tago
    Munster, Clifford
    Critta, B Smith
    Teddy, Papy, Hynes

    MKing, Schneider, Jones, May

    Thompson, Penisini, Tuilagi, Vailea

My current plan is to sell Clifford to Cleary next week, which means I will need 400-450k in the bank depending on how Clifford goes. With 223k already in the bank, that means I need to raise 200-250k off the 2nd trade next week in order to get Cleary in.

I've got a shortlist of candidates to be sold for the second trade, but none of them are particularly good

    * M King - probably need a 220k-240k cash cow for this to work, he hasn't made quite enough and if he has a big game this week, he won't be worth selling just yet.

    * J King - he may lose minutes this week with Grant back, but still has room to grow, so I'm hesitant to sell him this early

    * Critta - Losing goal kicking will make him peak I would think, but he probably isn't ready to go.

    * Randall - only possible if we get a cheap hooker that's playable, so highly unlikely

    * Teddy - If he has another down game, it may be worth cashing him downward to someone in the 400-450k range

Clifford and Teddy look like the obvious sacrifices for mine. Although, if Crichton can get another 40-50 this week that should bring him close to 500k and 150k in price rises, can probably then justify selling him a bit early without GK to get Cleary in (assuming a good enough 250ish K cow pops up). Wouldn't get rid of Randall or either King just yet.

Tuilagi, he’s marking David fifita (missed tackles galore)

Nanai is a gun and will run riot against keary/butcher/momo

Yeah I'm definitely willing to sell Clifford, just hesitant to do it with Ted because well, it's Teddy, but he's the one who gives me the most leeway to pick a decent replacement. I'm just praying that we get a sub-300 cash cow so I can avoid that. If anything, it's harder for me because I don't have that many underperforming players to begin with

Worst case scenario I just buy back Ilias if he has a half decent game this week, but against Penrith I doubt that'll happen.

Here she is, steady as she goes. Wrong captainicy picks have been only real issues I've had to start season all going under or around the 50 point mark.

    I want Cleary next week-

I would like to avoid losing Cook and DFifi.
My 1 trade for this week currently was Bully - Thompson
    Current bank is $282,000

    Cook
    Jking, Ming, Rick Carrigan
    DFifi, Nanai
    Clifford, Schneider
    Pensini, Aitken
    Hynes, Papy, Crichton

    Randall, Fermor, Starling, Tuilagi

    Ilias, Paulo, DFifi, Thompson

Waddell in the starting team now. Patolo doesn’t look ready for a starting role so hopefully TPJ gets a solid run at 2nd row. If not he’s goooone

Also re Leo I’m not sure I’d get on him this week (after talking everyone into it last week I didn’t get on him myself which worked out ok from my other trades). Klemmer likely to only miss this week and next. I said he was above croker last week but not sure where he stands against sue. Either way klemm will eat his minutes

That being said no doubt another knight goes down injured and I never get on Leo, he scores a try to turn him into a 500k priced cow I missed. Still salty from missing uto last year..

Tigers don't have any rocks. They're more like limestone or sandstone at best.

Also can we cut the “oh no my team is going too well I don’t know who to trade out” posts. Some of us have real problems here..

I love you mate, but both of those are rocks.

Seaweeds aren't rocks. Neither are ducks. Or dugongs.

There are heaps of non-rock things out there. Like cheeses, grass or milkshakes. Try those.

Seriously though, it has to be Clifford. He is screaming for a Cleary-ing.

Gus to Carrigan a good trade? Or just ride the "Gus to bench train" and pray he gets the starting gig back?

Haha yeah I kinda realised what I was typing and posted anyway.
Dugongs might not be rocks but they do rock.

Will Smith slapping a milkshake would be pretty funny though.

What are the thoughts on dumping Turbo? I took a few average players to ensure he would fit into my team when he was 1m. He hasn't performed in any of the games & I'm losing a bit of money on him each week.

Should I dump him or is it still too early?

The problem you have Beth is you don't have any obvious failures in your team. Envious you have IPap.

I think Jing is the obvious out for me after he plays 35-45 mins and gets 35 points and ends up as about 450k

I also do not like the Coates to May option, burning a trade to go from one risky winger to another (but it's your team, so i'll just shut up)

    I need you.

Son has thumb fracture, last wednesday. Looks like trapezium, its small and was debate if it was actual fracture or bone spur! In soft plaster wrap, and back to fracture clinic tomorrow. Chances he can play this weekend? or next Wednesay in national 7s comp?

Is it a pain mangement issue or is there more real concern with further more serious injury if cast comes off and its strapped up?
