Mahoney sitting there like a sacrificial calf, waiting to be slaughtered.  if Turbo isn't named, we will need a WFB.  Touch wood and pre-TLT, we seem to have missed the rest of the carnage this week...

I figured we'd be back to the Ponga vs. Doui vote, but maybe can limp through again if Trbo plays.

I was gonna vote Gutho this time anyway.. just kidding.

If we do need a WFB, I think I'll switch from Ponga to Doui now. Doui won a vote already, so seems fitting that he'd be our last addition, plus seems to be doing it with ease without the superstar favouritism.

I don't think Manly will risk Tom T this week so Doui could be the go.

Latrell probably worth a shout too just to spice things up.

It does mean a potential 15/16/17 of Peachey/Verrils/Blore.  At what point do we decide to use our last trade to boost our potential weekly score.

As per last week, the only position we're not covered for is WFB, so a trade for a Doueihi, Ponga, Latrell, or even Papy, could boost our top 17 for this week and hopefully beyond and shore up our backups to hopefully withstand at least one injury/suspension/resting over the last couple of weeks.

Yeah I don't mind using the trade. Just worried about copping a 30 the week we get on, but could just as easily be 70+ from any of those guys. Should be a worthy enough upgrade over Peach or Verrills over 3 weeks.

Peach locks tonight and might struggle to pull off that one 20-30 play he has in him vs. Storm. Not sure if Verrills is finally coming good or we just rode our luck at the right time.

Probably won't know whether Taumalolo's playing until late, but I don't have my hopes up.

So you've got $900k+ for a trade-in when you cut Mahoney.
I was originally going to say that I'd just hold off on Doueihi a week, unless it plays out that you can't field 17.

But, like you say, only WFB doesn't have cover.
The only way it ends a bad trade is if you're unlucky enough to lose two players from one position in the next week or two - but likely many others would face the same hardship.
