Thanks for the chat, fellas, saved me a TU/TD thread. Not that this is solved by this brief discussion, but I'm actually going one step further and trading one of these two out (need to punt one of them to bring in a non-CTR gun to have any chance at all in H2H semi final) and am also leaning well towards getting rid of Averillo. Just a bit nervous that the week I punt him he actually has a crack and fucks me (H2H opponent has him, Bird and Burton - same as I).

Playing with 16, Olam out was really out of nowhere. I've got you as having 6 out currently? Am I missing something

I've heard a few of the Storm players mention in interviews now that Bellamy intends to rest most of their blokes throughout the last few rounds - I guess that is the luxury you have when you are so far ahead (basically 2 games, due to their for and against).

It does make me a bit nervous when you start looking at finals bound teams that might not have much to gain/lose in some of these fixtures i.e. Eels and Roosters could find themselves in this position.

It's been a fairly brutal season thus far (physically and mentally), so I am sure a freshen up for some of the key players ahead of the finals, is pretty appealing to a lot of these coaches.

That's ok SI - I do tend to throw in a bit of random (serious) advice when I am scrolling through pages but it's few and far between.....particularly when 48 odd new pages get posted every time I log in!

I also accepted a long time ago that the problem with being sarcastic 99% of the time, is that it's a genuine struggle to convince people when you are not.

All that aside, I'm still not trading in Pearce......

Yeah I'm expecting that to happen.

Turbo and Teddy might not get rested because the Roosters and Sea Eagles are in contention for a top 4 spot. Frankly if you're going to face the Storm week 1, it's almost better to finish 5th but even the small chance of an upset and the week off is probably worth it.

I expect Murray might be given a rest soon or play reduced minutes at best. Cleary has had a fair absence already but maybe there's a chance he also gets a reprieve before finals.

If Murray gets rested or reduced mins it’ll be round 25 against the Dragons not before then though

Even as an owner I kind of hope turbo gets rested, just to test depth.

"He’s progressing pretty well,” Hasler said. "We might give him up until kick-off, or [make a call on his fitness] later today. There’s no fracture there, so that was the main thing. It’s whether or not [there’s a risk of] upsetting or injuring the plate [from a previous surgery].

"It’s something we’ll take pretty seriously. The prospect of a surgery was always the danger, but we got through that, so that’s good."

Bulldogs injury report re Averillo - "just pulled up a bit sore, he'll be monitored through the week and hopefully be able to play".

Didn’t watch the game but was it the commentator that said he had a broken hand? Seems odd it went from broken hand to pulled up sore

I have 21 green dots in my somewhat average team. Do I make a points play and trade in an in form player or hold those trades for future carnage or resting. I’m going for overall points, trying to break 2000. I’m just not sure what to do.

I could do Fog to Curran or Hudson Young for example. I have plenty of half cover.

    2 trades left.

My team as it is at the moment

    Hodgson
    AFB Haas J.Papalii
    Fifita Schuster
    Cleary Moses
    Ramien Rapana
    Teddy Latrell Ponga

    Trindall Hynes Watson Fogarty
    Bird Verrills Croker Walsh

"Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow trained on Tuesday but will need a specialist clearance at the end of the week if he's any chance of being a late inclusion.

Jason Taumalolo also took part in the session but was on restrictive non-contact duties as he looks to overcome a broken hand."

    Doesn't sound ideal for Lolo.
