    People shouldn't be inboxing Papy about a return date for their fantasy teams. They should have been smart and traded him out by now /s

    Nah really I'd never message anyone asking things that aren't my business like that. I only send out positive vibes to anyone famous.

    Most with a decent following eg sports star would just turn off message requests from randos. Fuck that noise. People are shit.

    Or at least they should.

    I wish I had the luxury to trade him in and out like that

    Not confident he'll be a tiger now that the roosters have entered the race.

    I think every trade from here on has to be looked at that there is a very big chance, whoever you trade in from here on is in your team til the end.

    Maybe it's a luxury - but I don't see too many options to try and get some extra points in rd 17 that doesn't involve trading someone in and back out.

    Current Team (Final 21 players in bold):

    Brailey
    Crichton, Harris, Haas
    iPap
    , Lucy
    Cleary, Moses
    Bird, Avo
    Trbo, Walsh
    , Hynes

    Johnson, CHN, Fog, Peachy
    Schuster,
    Jones, Simo, Verrils.

    12 Trades, 77k ITB

    Lucy becomes Fifita, Hynes becomes Tedesco, Fog becomes... someone - don't see any standouts TBH. Downgrading Jones after next round should give me enough cash for those 3 trades at least.

    Hearing the ink is dry. Roosters don't pay overs, he wont be there.

    What's everyone's fascination with trying to hire this bloke? Does he have beer flavoured nipples or something?

    I mean they just lost CHT and are looking for halves on the outer that they could snag up for the rest of the year, in which Townsend wouldn't be the worst option assuming they can get him at a good price

    Plan for team after trades for Rd 16.

    JMK
    Harris, Haas, Jackson
    Tupouniua, Schuster
    Cleary, Moses
    Peachey, Olam
    Hynes, Teddy, Walsh

    Watson, Fog, SJ, ARey
    Lodge, Verrills, Jones, Papy

    TPJ > Jackson
    Brailey > JMK

    Will leave me 11 trades and 9* players for the second bye.

    Will look at Jones, Watson and Hynes in the 4 trade week, leaving me 8 trades and 12* players for the bye

    Who is most likely to be a keeper out of Brailey/Matto/Lucy/Watson/Fog, or at least passable for a final 17? For my trades to work I probably need two of them to stick around in my team, or at least trade them sideways.

    One of them probably becomes Verrills next round to free up cash for DiFi/Turbo post origin.

    Tentative plan is:

    R16:

    Brailey/Matto/Lucy/Watson -> Verrills
    Roberts -> Chambers

    R17:

    Jones -> AFB
    Brailey/Matto/Lucy/Watson -> Lolo

    Gets me up to 10 for R17 & should still have the bank for Hynes -> Turbo and Matto/Lucy to DiFi in R18 + Kelly to Lomax when he bottoms out.

    Would leave me running home with the following:

    Macca
    Tohu iPap Lolo
    DiFi Schuster
    Cleary Moses
    Avo Lomax
    Turbo Teddy Walsh

    Crichton SJ 2 of Fog/Brailey/Lucy/Matto/Watson

    AFB Verrills Chambers Simo/WFB cashout if I need to raise the funds.

    Wouldn't be too unhappy with that, but obviously, plan these things at your own peril.

    I'd say Fog and coin toss Matto/Brailey

    Think I'm gunna take a punt on Lolo. Got no evidence to why he'll turn it around this year, but I know I love watching him and I hope he continues to improve this year. Especially desirable as I need a mid now TPJ is out.

    If he can score 55+ this round I'll probably bring him in for Fog in R17. Should be about a 40-50k net gain out of that trade too.

    Or I could trade him in this week for Lucy and just hope he pulls his finger out....

    Thinking the same tbh. Having run the numbers, don't think I'll quite have enough cash to get Haas + DiFi + Turbo, so it's going to have to be someone in the Lolo/Tolman/Jackson price range in Haas' place. Lolo has the history and is more fun to watch, so fuck it.
