Is JMK back from injury? Why is he suddenly playing 80?

Cause bulldogs don't really have any other decent hookers and JMK is capable of 80

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 69 - Nice
Really tired of these Origin Kent's having every game off after Origin.
Professional athletes can play more then once a week it's ridiculous.
Played in sports carnivals where we would play 4 or 5 games in a weekend then front up to school/work the next day.
Give them the week off training etc but they can front up for games and not let their teams down like lil bitches.

JMK the flavour of the week around here? I don't think his stats at hooker are too encouraging.
Two great scores the last fortnight but his previous game did include a try where he broke through some pathetic defence from the Dragons.
Think he's more a Blayke Brailey type hooker in the long run. Sure they play 80 minutes and get the occasional good score but they've also got a fair few duds in them.
One game last year JMK played 76 minutes at hooker and scored a try for 33 points.

If the reports of TPJ going to the Tigers are true, i am disappointed to see the Tigers play the Broncos in Rd 18 and we wont see him up against his old club until next year..

gonna take one more look at him in round 16, if he can bang out a good score in 80 mins from tackles then he's coming in for Brailey in round 17

Marshall will be needed at hooker mate. Mamozoulos off the bench. Ta’affe will play fullback round 17.Shady2K wrote:$5k short of going Brailey to IPap
Would need to cash out on Gamble early but if named for R16 he's still got a bit of cash to milk. May just do it though
Thinking Blake Taaffe would be a good base price cash out? Would play 17 at fullback when Latrell is gone - or does Johnston just go back there?
Edit: nevermind, forgot Walker would go FB and Marshall to 5/8
A big blow for Souths today though Tatola MCL injury looking at 8 weeks out. Apparently a grade 2 strain but bordering on a stage 3.
Looking ahead at round 17 I can give Souths predicted side. If anyone else’s team they support is playing 17 go ahead and name a likely 17....
Ta’affe
AJ
Campbell
Burns
Milne
Cody
Reyno
Nicholls
Benji
Tom
Koala
Host
Sele
Mamozoulos
Knight
Mago
J. Cartwright
We have the Cows at home. I’ve already put in for the day off work I’ll be there.

Well I only have 5 trades and have the likes of matterson tpj and hynes to deal with. Can't believe Garrick is close to averaging 50 this year. With manly easy draw and turbo laying up trys for him could be a good pod for rnd 17

Pretty happy with the Ikin appointment. I don't watch 360 but he seems pretty switched on and I've always agreed with what he's had to say re the Broncos over the past couple of years (from what I've seen).
Now gets the chance to put it into action.

Yeah his historic stats don't go in his favour, not sure if he can keep the scores up. It's definitely a high risk punt.

Agree. The interesting part will be how he keeps the journos on side, will buy Kevvie the rest of next year until he is shuffled along.

Yup. Kevy will see out his 2 years but is an easy fall guy if the team hasn't started to perform next year. At least by then Donaghy and Ikin can get the football dept/salary cap in order.

The biggest issue is its a lot easier to say stuff from afar when you don't actually have to do anything to back it up.
Now that he has to deal with the reality of the situation, there will be a bunch of obstacles to deal with that you can just ignore as a neutral observer.
I hope he does well though, its no good having any team be a shambles for multiple years in a row.

One to watch for sure. He's only just come back to NRL and he's already scoring 40's. Once he gets consistent minutes he could push for his former gun scores.

I'm thinking that he should at least make some money over the next 2 weeks, whereas Brailey is dropping value every game he plays. Add in the fact he plays Rd 17, and I think I'll bring him in to tide me over until rd 18/19 and upgrade him to Hunt or Cook (or Mahoney if he's back) then.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 69 - Nice
I will not even be looking at my teams or trades until next week.
I saw someone mention Hynes will spend the next two weeks on the bench... Pappy posted something on Twitter the other day basically saying he has no clue when he will be back and his situation changes every single day. He also said he doesn't feel like himself, which is a strong indicator he is still fairly knocked up.
This sounded like a message to everyone telling them to back off about him not playing cause he is not feeling good still. Personally I think he is still a couple rounds away.

The main point of Pappy's twitter the other day was to tell people his health is more important than your fantasy team, so stop bugging him about a return date
Injured NRL players must cop it heaps on twitter/instagram/facebook from randoms who just want fantasy info. Must be terribly annoying

Yeah, it's pretty common seeing screenshots on Facebook, etc. of random person asking player X when they're back, etc.
Would be very annoying. Surely their inboxes would be chock-a-block!

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 69 - Nice
NRL physio had a pic last year which was basically a collage of the dozens of DMs he had asking him about an Alex Twal injury. Got “champed” in about 50% of them too.
So for the players who are copping more messages as well as actually going through the injury it must be very frustrating.
