Alvaro is my definite trade out and probably Starling aswell for either CHN + someone for 445k or less (Gilbert/Hess/Dearden or Marzhew) or Gun + Cow (Hunt+ Marzhew)

Momo starting this week but will be gone eventually. Starling is more of a hope that Hodgson leaves soon but that’s all up in the air.

Decent downgrade option for Fogarty maybe.

Fogarty to Dearden is one of my trades this week. 

Feel like he could be an O’Sullivan type scorer, just without the dropping.

I too am keen on SJ i thought Townsend was dropped. Which if he were its confusing why hes named this week in the 21. Seems Townsend might still be in some favour since Deardon went early and the Sharks have told SJ he can fuck off next year. 

Ilike SJ but if sharks are going to use their young halves next year they might get their chance at the end of this one if finals hopes are gone

Saw the SJ Vs ARey debate earlier, and the TU/TD vote going to ARey convincingly. Made me take a look at the stats and a few things I found interesting:

> Between 2014-2020, SJ got a higher average in 6 out of 7 seasons (2019 the odd one out where ARey averaged 1.4 higher more PPG. For SJ, 2019 was year that his minutes per game was lowest. So, the anomoly of 2019 is due to SJ injuries)

> SJ is crazily consistent year to year in season average scoring that is not related to kicking (GK + KM). His non kick averages scores, from 2014-2020, were: 33.2, 33.9, 34.8, 31.7, 33.6, 32.3, 32.2

> SJs overall average scores in the same period ranged between 49.5 to 57.1. The big variation is his average is mainly determined by variation in GK and KM. His stand-out year with 57 ppg was in 2017 when he averaged 20.3ppg in KM alone. This was by far his best year for KM (his next best is about 5ppm lower).

> In the last two games this year, SJ has average KM score of 20.5. This is, he's matching the KM as per his big 2017 year! What's most relevant is that one of these games he partnered Moylan (not a big kicker) who he looks like partnering for the year. [In the other he partnered Chad for a bit over half a game before Chad got hooked.].


So, for ~$30k cheaper, gotta be SJ??

PS: I'm not buying either - need a WFB to field 17 and down on trades so can't afford to be sideways trading.

Playing 16 if Kelly confirmed out. None of Cleary, Schuster, Walsh, Kelly or Suallii are anything like trades though, unless Kelly is confirmed as long-term

Is starling a trade out? If Hodgson stays he probably is but the chance that Hodgson leaves makes him slightly tempting to keep as he could become a gun that you would have to waste another trade pn

Yeah, still liking Dearden. Would be for Fog though, but probably better getting rid of BKelly first for a cheap option like Jones or Verrills. Fog to Dearden can still be done next week.

Why are so many people so keen to trade green dots with 50+ averages at the moment?

Starling to Curran my likely trade this week. I’d love to hold him for when Hodgson goes to the Broncos but that could be next year. Accept I took the gamble on him and got burnt
