Anything more than 15 trades coming into this week I reckon you should go hard at round 17. Any less than that you probably want to make sure you have a decent 18 to end the year

Just remember that no one is going to get every gun, either due to lack of trades or lack of dollars. So chasing the guns that scored lots of tries to start the year (Papy and Fifita) rather than the guns that didn't (DCE and Cook) might leave you looking a bit silly. Scoring lots of tries in the first 9 weeks doesn't make you more likely to score lots of tries in the last 9 weeks

I got Jones last week as he seemed like the best option for short term cash grab. Probably the last one of those I can do.

Verrills is someone you trade in and keep for the season (again, assuming he stays fit)

15 trades so might be doable to get more cash gen. Interesting tweet though. Seems like he's liked at the club and going to get good game time but you're right, where does he fit when Friz is back. Surely he doesn't knock Fitz out the way.

Thanks for the feedback buddy. There's merit behind both I guess and yeah, I was going to go CHN for Walker in round 12 but saved the trade for round 13, so he was on the cards for me before his 87. The 87 was proof I should have went through with the trade.

Initial thoughts were Leniu + Starling > Jones and CHN but than I realised I would be left with 16 players. I don't really want to trade any of my red players and I also want to get rid of Leniu and Starling to a lesser extent. Jones and CHN provide me some cash gen in Jones who can hopefully provide a jump to a R17 gun later on and CHN who looks to be producing the goods and plays R17. Trades in hand help but means I am left with 16 for the week.

Great post and my thoughts exactly.
I'm sitting at rank 571 but short on trades so not worrying about 17 and just focusing on finishing strong. My planned trades will have me finishing with a strong team with reasonable depth- CHN & Schuster sitting in the 18 and 19 spots so reasonable depth.

Currently planning to get Fifita in round 18 if budget goes to plan, otherwise I will look at cheaper guns like Cook.

Do any bulldogs supporters know what's happening with Kyle Flannagan? Im interested in Averillo but I cant help but feel held back by the fact that Flannagan might eventually pop up again and he goes back to being Duderillo.

Thinking about this actually makes a lot of sense. I can trade to a gun and once Papy is back its pretty much a straight swap with Hynes.

I need a cash out this week. Would you go Suaalii as a Teddy handcuff who also plays in R17, or just get Verrills who will be a get at some point anyway?

I mean I’ll probably get both eventually. Suaalii just makes more sense in case Teddy doesn’t actually play this week?
