Are there playable cheap edges other than Riki? Gos is EMG only for me. Host I’ll wait and see what happens with Lawrie...

Milf conundrum is simple, if he kicks the piss out of the ball he’s value, if he doesn’t he’s a around value

Both mooted halves partners in Dearden and Croft reduced his KM numbers last season so it’s currently a no from me plus the tubby cunt fucked me last year.

Too much value in the CTR for me to punt on that happening and expecting an increase on his legacy CTR average. There’s a good few priced far lower with similar potential

For context Semi Valemi averaged more Tb and RM than both of them and he averaged 22....

Rapana is a good example, played a reasonable amount of both Wing and Centre last year for the Raiders
Reduced running metres and tackle breaks at centre, offset with double the tackles made and missed tackles
This is generally the case across the broad with most teams

Cotric is priced at his 4 year career average of 36 after averaging 36 on the wing in 2020
His centre average is 31 from 8 games.
So we have have a fairly good look including his year when he broke into origin

What is he going to different this year playing centre for last years bottom team?
What do people hope from him 40?
Scored 52 in 54 minutes in the trial, without any attacking stats other than TBs, which are base stats for him. Would be happy with 45+ as gun keeper, dual.

Cotric is legit option with wing switch kick returns but people writing off yet still spruiking Milford. Hilarious

Doesn’t really look like it. BMM just over 400k and DPP.

But no there aren’t many options.

    So pick him then

Thanks that’s what I thought. I’m hoping for the Davey miracle then. I’d kinda like to not have a gun edge to start for reasons, but think I’ll have to roll with one of Crichton/Matto/Fifita by default

Depends if there is any utility on the bench. We don’t know til 4pm Tuesday.

If there are utilities on the bench I’m probs gonna avoid to get Cookie but will have to sacrifice either Teddy or Pap at WFB. I can’t have both Teddy and Cook.

I guess it can be looked at multiple ways, but my point about us having lots of players who would dig in and bring it off our line, was that I would expect their scores to be low based on sharing that work. I agree the scoots off the line can be less regarding fantasy wise per run, but it only takes a couple where they fend off the markers and bump a few players to add up.

I would use Rapa as an example in another way, when we didn't have cnk and Cotric he had to do all of the scoots and would take multiple in a set, they weren't all great but with that volume he would Jag a few big runs.

So I'd be buying Cotric hoping he doesn't share it as much and for 40-45 which I'd gladly take as a keeper CTR. Happy to admit it's a massive if though and far from a sure thing, he often frustrated me in games when I thought he wouldn't get involved enough so there is every chance playing in a worse team at CTR leads to less attacking opportunity and he doesn't involve himself enough.

I’ve got Fifita and Riki at edge currently. Angus on the interchange as he’s got DPP. Apart from that it’s slim pickings. Waddell probs starts for the Dogs but at 430k it’s a little bit of an awkward price and not sure on his JS.....

If Gos is named to start I guess he’s one for the emergencies........ but as I said before he fills me with not much confidence.

He’s avg 50 before easily mate. He’s priced at 32 so even a low 40’s avg is enough to see him make solid money.

    It’s a risk but I wouldn’t call it insanity!

I’ve got Fifita and Riki atm. I’m not as keen on Crichton as the crowd atm... will probably capitulate and get him in the end.

Waddell I’m not convinced. It feels like RFM and Elliot are the favoured edges.

Think you are wrong on this one. The argument for Milf is because he has multiple seasons of 50+ average. Priced at 31

Cotric never been above 38 in a season and priced at 37. Far easier to expect Milf to elevate over Cotric

Gossie is shit but tempted to run with him if other options fall through and I means I can get an extra gun. With Koala off the table I don't mind Host but Bennet likes to sub usually one of his second rowers at the 60 minute mark. Can see him being similar to Siro last year with scoring and minutes. Probably not worth it.
