I'm now having thoughts on trading Lomax down to someone like Bob Jane or Aubbs to pocket 200+K. Turning him into Bob Jane means I can turn Randall into anyone under 900K.......

Thoughts on going Pearce to Moses this week? 6 trades left (prior to trades) and I can just field a 17 this week. How much will Pearce's scores be affected by Green?

Hard to argue with that to be honest.

Issue with Aubbs is that he may be back on the bench in a few weeks time, so you might need another trade there.

I don't think its worth pulling the trigger on that this week.

I'm considering getting Moses but I'll hold Pearce as well. I'm kind of hoping he finds some attacking stats again, in the last month he's only had 1 TA and 2 TB's.. but still scoring 50's of late so will hold for now.

Thinking more Bob Jane. Still have Talau and Herbie as centres too.

Will you regret the trade if Bob is back on the bench next week? It's highly probable.. but not a big deal really as he is scoring fine from there anyway.

Madge consistently swapping things up though and when everyone is fit it could be a tight squeeze with aloiai, packer, twal, eisenhuth, mikaele among the middles.

As a tigers fan I would be concerned about Bob Jane's minutes once all forwards are back to full fitness. Huth did a tremendous job while Twal was out and while Twal seemed a little underdone last week and will sit this week out he will play big minutes in the middle once he returns to the side. This could impact McIntyre who has been playing in the middle off the bench

Can we have more trades this week?
    From a lot of people

Sorry folks, the two bonus trades awarded to everybody a month ago is it for the season, so hopefully you've managed to keep a few up your sleeve for tough weeks like this one.

You mentioned you have Talau and Farnworth as well, both are fine while you have 3 playable centres (either Aubbs or McIntyre) but if either of those guys end up in small minute bench roles they become useless very quickly. I don't hate the idea but I'd be leaning towards someone with job security like Waqa Blake, Moses Mbye or Jarrod Croker that can be played every week while rotating the other 2. Still leaves you decent cover in case of injury, banks 200k and will hopefully get similar scores

For what it's worth I have Croker locked into 1 centre spot and plan to rotate Asi/Farnworth in the other spot which means Crichton is surplus to requirements

If you wanted to settle for someone around 820k rather than 900k, I think Latrell is great value for money at 480k

Thoughts on these trades - leaves me with 5 trades:
    C. Smith out - DCE in
    Luai out - Tevaga in

    Mann
    Haas (c), J. Paulo
    Taumalolo, Yeo, Tevaga
    Cleary, DCE
    S. Crichton, Talau
    Tedesco, Ponga, HTF

    B. Hunt, Carrigan, Young, B. Sironen
    Randall, Grant, Pappy, Wiliame

    Cheers.

Can't really fault it mate, team looks gun! I'd be concerned about having 5 trades (he says with only 3 - but I'm concerned about that too haha), so I'd consider keeping CS9 and just go Luai to Tevaga if you can afford it. Cleary and Hunt in your halves is more than ok, and with injuries piling up like they do, going without DCE in exchange for an extra trade would be a fine option imo. Though it is close.

I’ve been looking at Latrell the last couple of days on and off.

Can go HTF > Latrell and that’s my bank done. Gives me Crichton, Latrell at CTR and then can move Talau to EMG as CTR/WFB cover. Currently gave zero CTR cover

Feels like something I should do if I had 10 trades not 6 though

Brought Ponga in this week guys, so I apologise in advance for when he breaks his leg and is out for the season.

Pretty much locks that in as your final team, but I don't mind it

At full strength Sironen/Young is good enough as 17th/18th man and you are strong enough everywhere else. Only concern would be no CTR coverage, but Wiliame might be back soon

    Thanks for the input lads.  It's probably short sightedness but just wondering if it's a smart play to sell Lomax at that current price with trsdes in hand.  I looked at Mitchell but didn't think it would be worth only 130K.  Saying that, I can do;

    Lomax - Mitchell
    Randall - Ponga

Allows me to keep Lucy and Pearce too.  Hmm....... Would still have 6 trades.

If I am honest mate this season is already in the bin so I am just whacking the C on my 2nd fav player (Teddy) behind Radley until he beats Haas. Sunk cost fallacy.

Since I've been trying to get better at the game (round 5), the only non-red dot (voluntary trade) ive made since round 6 has been JTB after round 9. Can't wait for next year which fingers crossed is more normal!
