Worth going Drinkwater to Pearce (over DCE or Cleary) if it allows me to go Papy to Turbo next week with only one trade?

McCullough + Averillo vs Latrell + Hamiso?

I've already got Best, Burns in centres and Teddy, Papenhuyzen, Isaako at WFB but that might change
So Averillo/Hamiso don't have to be in my 17

Second trade seems sideways to me, first I like as a 5-10 points upgrade for ~120k

I'm stumped on which one of these 600kers to pick up. Some nice options. Macca throws out my squad balance though and probably means I don't bring in Cook/McInnes. Gah

    Pearce is the new hotness.

almost as good scores as Cleary/DCE/Moses for $200k less.

If it wasn't for CTRs continually falling in a heap, I'd probably grab him this week. As it is he is high on list for next week.

@Milchcow I considered picking up RFM as well, but wanted the cash ITB to do an upgrade in the WFB. He should do ok and make a bit of cash

Anyone else besides me and Welshy got a foot in the door on the W. Hopoate train? Saves 70k and he averages 40 at fullback. Latrell could average 45 at the back for Souths but I don’t see him averaging 50. The extra 70k can be used to get in a high quality trade down the track.

I like RFM too, but told myself that I need to go cow gun strategy as every year I'm always fucking around with middies. WAGS team however...

I would if I couldn’t afford Latrell. I’ve had Hoppa previously and he’s done well. I’ve gone Latrell just for the thrills and spills. Short season so I’m not worried about future trades as much.

If we had a wildcard or it was before round 1 he would be on the radar for me. For mine he won't score enough to be a keeper and won't make enough cash to be a cow.
