    Haha!!

I wish I had something crafty to say about how it will not be this way, but it's true. You seem to have got in with a good starting squad.

I guess you could call your imminent victory revenge for our earlier encounter this year when the NRL still existed. Sad

That's 9pm NZ time and 10am in Wales.

    Does that work for people?
I'm happy to set up a zoom meeting if people want a communal beer and chat while we count the stats.

This week's game is Newcastle vs Canberra
Found a Knight's fan youtube channel with a heap of 2006 games so potentially we can watch more Knight's action in future rounds.

9pm NZ time or later works for me. Generally at my place, everyone fucks off to their rooms by 10pm and leaves me in peace

    7pm works for me

Cool, so one would essentially view the game on their phone and be on a laptop on the forum? That'd be pretty swell with my chromecast thing.

Once you use Zoom it just saves as a icon on desktop (so it's separate to Chrome/browser) and you just click link when meeting is arranged. Then you just have fantasy fanatics/whatever else in Chrome/browser separate

Only person making meeting (Milchcow most likely) needs to share screen

Don't know how/if it works on phone as haven't used it on there

I wonder if you can minimize the app while it's playing and then post a sneaky comment then open back up the app without losing the live stream.

Thanks Teeth for not making me feel like the only noob with this stuff. cheer

Yeah you definitely can. I tend to use split screen on my computer for Zoom (have Zoom on one side and other app/browser on other side)

Haha, no worries. When it comes to technology I am ill equipped. This Zoom thing sounds like something I could possibly get my head around, though.

Reading this makes me think I can probably sit there with the laptop while the kids' movie is on at this 7pm timeslot. I might not be fully attentive and need to bail at some point for bedtime, but can at least aim to get involved.

10pm is usually when the late game is on in NZ (thu, fri, sat night) i.e. 8pm AEST
I wonder if shifting it back an hour might be better for everyone, as it seems like most of us probably prefer a later start? (I generally don't manage to get free till then either)

As there are also a number of us that haven't used Zoom etc before, would it be worth having a test run prior (e.g. night before?) just to iron out any kinks - or is it that straight forward that there's not likely to be any issues for anyone?

Will shift it back to 8:30pm Aus time.

We can test a zoom call tonight to see if it will work OK.

People who are interested should install Zoom on their phone/laptop/PC during today and we can try something tonight.

Yeah I installed last night but looked complicated for my simple mind. Will try to participate in test run.

I was tempted to jump on some Knights players solely due to the fact that those are the 2006 games we'll be watching Laughing

I was keen on Brian Carney but he was out of my price range. Should've started with him and not bloody snake!
