NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 11 - The join your Leagues edition!

With B/L's Survivor game we probably already have enough side competitions as is, but I thought I would throw this out there anyway. Would anyone be interested in a "how well do you know the fantasy credentials of your fellow Fanatics" tipping competition?

Very simply, you would select a Fanatic from each one of our ranked leagues (maybe just the top 12 leagues) and their scores over the season would constitute your overall score. Obviously, the highest overall scoring entrant wins. As part of this comp, I see a transfer window after every 6 rounds where you could punt one (maybe two?) underperforming Fanatic and pick up another from the same ranked league.

Only bit I don't like is the trade window. Just because of the effort it will take and the potential for mistake.

NRL Supercoach is on the league channel on Fox Sports at 2 pm. this afternoon. The presenters, Brandy, Corey and Lara will discuss their teams, strategies and what not. Will be good for a giggle and something may come up that applies to NRL Fantasy as well.

Drafting today at the number 6 spot. I'm thinking I just take best player available first then work around it.

Cherry?

Dropping Mcinnes and Bateman due to injury. Who am i missing?

Top 5 seem right, maybe Cleary instead of DCE?

Yeah, i guess Moses is in the mix too. You have to consider late round value too in draft as you don't want to fill roster spots early when you can get sleepers or serviceable players in the late rounds.

Draft not just the best scorer, but the best scorer relative to who you'll get if you overlook them

Haas is no brainer first pick because he's miles ahead of next best front rower.

I'd strongly consider Teddy if he is available, because he is clearly the best WFB around

This. Im biased because I picked up teddy in my draft, but I'd have him as no 2 in that order for exactly the reason the sacred cow states.
