    Good morning all,
I would appreciate some thoughts on my current team. Feel naked at a party without Cam smith.. But I feel it's a better spread without the gun 9.

    Koro
    Haas, Knight
    W.Graham, Hess, D.Fifita
    Cleary, Drinkwater
    Best, Lomax
    Pap, Doueihi, A.Brimson

    B.Brailey, J. Wallace, Stimson, Magnoulias
    Kolomatangi, Utoikamanu, Luai, Leleisiuano

thoughts, good, bad and ugly is welcome.

    Cheers

Who is Crichton meant to be taking a centre spot from?

Surely Whare gets a gig, so is Naden the one who is expected to miss out?

I see where you're coming from. I just can't help but think of 2 weeks out from finals last year Bellyache drops Croft and moves Hughes into half and Papy into FB. You would think he would only do that if he believed it was his best team going forward, even if the rest of the squad apparently had beef with Croft. Oh well i guess watch this space aye? I think these are going to be some telling times over the next couple years. I am actually excited to see what lays ahead for us past Smith's retirement. Do we move Brandon into 9 or Grant? Where does the money go? Maybe Folau would be a good signing next year Smile

Well thats half of what im basing it on. I think the move was more about Croft being dropped than Papy being promoted

It's standard but good, although looking like Stimson and Grant will have to go.

Everyday I keep warming to starting with Luai in my halves.

Yeah, after being away for two weeks I feel a bit behind the 8 ball on players in favour/players no longer looking like getting a gig. Is Friend still liked around here or have people moved on? Also feel like A.Fifita could become Knight and I can strengthen my bench (Stimson/Grant). Drinkwater could also become a Cow and I could possibly grab CS9 somewhere.

Are those NPRs $228k or $246k. Can make a big difference to your ability to get useful players there.

If a cheap WFB playable turns up that would help your flexiblity (Brimson or Drinkwater could go to halves to cover Luai)

So no depth but looks OK. individually there are no selections not supported by most of us here

Whether people have Friend or not as of today is meaningless, he is going to surge/plummet in popularity based on what happens in the WCC this weekend.

Fifita is on the slide here right now, but if he gets decent game time in a trial then he might be on the up again. If he could ease concerns about his knee injury, I would strongly consider him.

No more info on Friend really. Verrils played the 9's so some are taking that as Friend may have his gig back. I think personally Verrils will be on the bench.

Do you still think CS9 can average around that 60 mark mate?

Finding it really hard to find my two last benchies so just went with Hess and Knight for now because no doubt it'll probably be around the same cost anyways.

No more looking until TLT now Smile thanks guys.

Also who we got this weekend. I think Indigenous All-Stars will shit it in easy.

    Love the Wallace pick!

Wade Graham is a different pick too. My only thoughts on him is his reliance to kick on the last may go down a bit but hes in the leadership group and a few forwards are missing. He might really step up

If Crichton to centre is true (I'm skeptical), then Verrils will almost certainly be on the bench.

Even if Verrills is on the bench, Friend should still be good for at least 65 minutes. I guess you have to decide if that’s enough for your team

Thanks for your feed back.   Wade Graham isn't quite the Pod I thought he would be as he is up to 6% ownership. He was injury affected last year, and from what I recall he came back well with a few high scores after his return.  With a full preseason behind him and the pack losing some experience,  I just feel good he will return to gun status.
