Interesting that Drinkwater said after the game that Robson will add a lot coming off the bench for us this year, like it was a fait accompli, for anyone thinking he might get the nine jersey over Granville.

I see them full strength pack stacking up like this

    8.McLean
    9.Granville
    10.McGuire
    11.Cooper
    12.Hess
    13.Taumalolo
    14.Robson
    15.Asiata
    16.Molo
    17.Wright

Gives a little bit of interest in McGuire, Hess, Taumalolo and Molo

Whether loud or quiet about it, nobody had mentioned hide nor hair of him before this tournament. Suddenly he was everyone’s secret pick. We are all geniuses here,  no doubt about it

I haven’t mentioned my team at all, except Drinkwater, Hughes and Pap.....from the Storm stable. They’ve all been in my team from day dot. Check my posts.

I get caught doing the same every year. I have never owned Kikau because I thought his points were unsustainable. I didn't bring in Bateman until the week he got injured for the same reason. Sometimes you just have to suck it up and admit you were wrong

I dont think you get better as a fantasy player if you cant admit where you were wrong and then try and figure out why you were wrong or how you should look at things differently next time. Same thing applies to life I suppose.

In any case, Drinkwater always had this skill but there have been plenty of great skillful players who arent able to translate that to fantasy scores in the past.

At 400k though, he is super cheap and there arent a whole lot of alternatives, so I have to admit the temptation has heightened after seeing his 9s form

Don't talk to me unless you are now ineligible for tiebreakers because you illegally hacked into NRL fantasy before it opened in order to put Drinkwater in your team

Broncos saying Milford is fine and could have played day 2, obviously there was no point risking it tho.

If Holmes hadn’t of signed, Drinkwater would of been nailed on Boys 1 and in 90% of fantasy teams

Questions over his scoring potential in halves because he’s isn’t a big kicker, if Holmes plays wing and Drinkwater FB he would of flown into all serious teams before start of comp regardless

I think it's the reverse for me, his stats at FB when he come to Cowboys were unconvincing but should get increased base stats for tackling at 5/8, possible KM

Averaged 29.3 at FB last year with only 2 scores above 30 without try
