Haha well spotted, my bad. And yeah, it doesn't have any bearing on the full comp. Storm hardly fields a top strength side in the nines

I hope some of the teams like Dragons and Titans kick on from the 9's though. Titans effort and attitude looked much improved, esp Taylor

He is priced at 42 but last year had a few injury affected games and a 23 min game off the interchange in that average too.

Last year games over 50mins he has an average of 46.7 which i think he'll be getting each week. Even in games over 40mins its still above what he is priced at.

    Definitely room for improvement

Agreed he wasn't too flash last year but the year before he was very good. I think the rationale is with R. James gone for the year someone in the front row has to benefit with extra mins & Wallace could be that man. If he get 50-60 mins with his ppm he could average around 50-55. Note in 2018 he was getting those sort of mins but that was because he was benefiting from injuries during the game so he was staying on the field longer.

The problem with this is that James was gone last year too. So there are no extra minutes available , unless he takes them from MoFo, Arrow or one of the already under-utilised bench middles.

Titans have fuck all props / middles now

    Wallace
    Fotuaika
    Arrow
    Boyd
    Stone
    Whitbread

ONly one off the bench i can see getting decent minutes is Whitbread. Boyd isnt a big minute player and i dont know much about stone

I think they'll run with two hookers on the bench they've been burnt a few times by Peats going down mid game

The question is how does the new coach rank them.

Whitbread is Arrow v2 imo. Boyd.. well he needs to find form.. i would say the same about Wallace

You could argue that Wallace is the 4th best player in that list

Who else would you have above him out of interest?

Apart form Arrow and Whitbread which i completely agree with

Well, whitbread could be in for a breakout year, and Boyd is reportedly ripping in at pre season.

Wallace really tailed off in form last year. Like Boyd, he needs to lift his game.

Im not sure how the new coach will see them in the pecking order which is what I was getting at. He might go completely different to what we all expect.

Hey bro just a couple of thoughts:
Monitor Stimson because he may not start, Replace if on the bench.
Flanagan might take on more of a backseat role while he's eased into the team so Keary will be the dominant hlf.
Egan will start round 1 but not sure after that because the Warriors have a lot of hookers like Roache & Lawton.
I'm not sure on Brimson with a difficult early draw for the Titans & I'd prefer a forward on your bench instead of a back
Talau may not even start round 1 & the same as Brimson re back on bench & Talau is a ctr so may not score well even if he starts.
I think you have to play Brimson & Talau (if starts) in your starting 13
Monitor Isaako because there's talk Bird could start at f/b meaning Isaako probably wing. He is gk so that's a plus but not sure if he's on the wing.

    Good luck.

There's been some varying info coming out of the warriors regarding injury status to Egan and Lawton. No garauntee Egan will even be ready for round 1 frmo what I've heard. In any case, Lawton is likely to play trials while Egan will miss the early trials at least.

Fluff piece about McCullough running rings around non NRL players who haven't started pre-season training. Other than that haven't seen anything.

Brimson is best in 14-17 as he covers both wfb and half
