If he plays right side with Cleary then yes I’d be interested.

If he plays left side with Luai I think I’ll leave it.

Would Crichton start over Naden I assume?

Whare was just made captain of the 9s so im assuming he is locked for one centre spot.

Another cheapie I think may find a spot is Brayden Wiliame. Not sure that lafai and aitken are certainties, and if not at centre, could jag a wing spot.

Priced 33, averages 37.5 in games over 40 mins (averaging 45 mins). Not that much upside with Sharks having a fairly decent pack/bench or am I missing something. I pick Lowe/Su'A each time over him

I like him but would hope for at least 50 mins. Under 50 minutes he probably isn't worth it but by then it's too late. He's in my squad at the moment.

Sportal News is predicting him to be right side Smile. Again all teams lists are just guesswork. But this would be much better than choosing Best

I thought Naden would be almost locked in.  He had some good games last year.  Although had a couple of poor games too.

Naden;s defence towards the end of last year really was not up to first grade standard! Could be the reason he is behind Crichton at the moment.

    Bloody oath mate.

I have been trying to find an alternative to Best and had Watkins in there in today’ draft, but he can piss off if Crichton gets that centre spot at 268k and it frees me up another 48k.

I guess that would mean Naden starts off in Canterbury Cup? Probs where he deserves to be anyways as he can’t tackle.

In saying that I won’t get my hopes up.

Soward on NRL site says he thinks Crichton deserves a spot at centre.

I bet Naden gets named there though come TLT just to piss us all off.

Tedesco started slow last 2 years hasn't he, sure seemed that way but risky way to play it, using that logic

I'm happy running Ponga to start season, key to starting well is always picking the guns from the off who start the season on fire, 90% of top end guns all average around the same come seasons end so picking the ones who start like a bang, grabbing ones who start slow after dropping cash is a great way to start

Most have the same middies and cheapies, such a pot shot picking the guns to start fast, all guesswork really and getting lucky

Just pointing out how much weight A Fifita has dropped. Seen a few pics of him and wow he's looking much fitter then previous years!

    It's all relative

After 5 rounds last year, Tedesco was the 2nd best scoring WFB (behind RTS)

After 5 rounds in 2018 Tedesco was the 2nd highest scoring WFB (behind Ponga)

Like Haas, Tedesco could well drop cash in the first few rounds (unlike Haas he doesn't have a fanhub tax on his price)
If you get him its saving a trade in a difficult position.

He dropped how much cash over those first 3 rounds? or does it balance out saving the trade

Trbo, RTS and Ponga are probably better value than Ted, assuming they're going to be top 4 wfbs at seasons end, but not having Ted, like Haas, gives me the absolute shits. And unlike Haas he'll probably be a POD on here.

2019 he dropped $95k in 2 weeks, and then started making money back , before dropping to his cheapest price of the season in round 9 (but you wouldn't have traded Tedesco in after round 9, with origin about to happen)

2018 he was never more expensive than his opening price. Dropped almost $50k in 5 weeks and then hovered around there.

I don't put much stock in players "starting slow" or "starting well" though. Especially when the sample size is 2 seasons.

Last year round 1 was heavy rain.
2018 round 1 Tedesco dropped the ball with the line open in front of him - cost himself a bunch of points.

Is that going to happen again this year?
