    Best
    Musgrove
    Douhickey
    Tolo

    all off the list

EDIT: Yep got Sam Smith & Schonig too

Makes sense as going with popular picks would be similar to going Cookie Cutter. However, they probably didn't account for the algorithim creating a feedback loop haha

Where's all the Brandon Wakeham love at ? Plays round 12 priced at 30. Averages 40 in games he plays 80 min. Quickfire cash right there.

Because apparently Cogger will beat Wakeham to the starting spot. It was in an article & L. Lewis said he reckoned Cogger would be his halves partner.

So on the ownership, Jarome Luai is probably the most popular player because he is being selected by both serious fantasy players, and the autopick algorithm.

David Fifita is my guess at the most popular genuine pick.

I'm surprised CS9 only just scraped into the top 50.

Fifita has been in and out of my side. Talk of TPJ starting edge has put me off. If he came in and averaged 20 above his price, it probably doesn't make or break your season as much as Haas, with all his captainers, dropping a couple of big games to start the year.

There really ought to be more CS9 love. Should have an uptick in kms with Croft gone. Fairly young spine with Hughes and Paps so CS9 will be as involved as ever.

Is there any reason Lomax is considered an auto pick by so many?

After having another look at his stats I'm not so sure. Priced at 27 I don't see an average of any more than 35

He isn't a big metre eater like CNK was prior to moving to fullback, with most of his fantasy prowess so far based on his defensive ability. His one game listed at fullback he is down for 24 tackles and as bad as the Dragons were I don't believe he defended at fullback. Does anyone have a memory of how that game played out before I'm forced to watch a Dragons Sharks game?

Dessie has Lewis on a needs to know basis, clearly he has no clue.

He did defend at fb that game, i watched it closely.

He was first down on kick chase and would make a couple of tackles in a row sometimes before dropping back.

Dragons also defended their line a lot, and he was up in the line doing heaps of work.

Can't remember the game. But he is on a big multiyear contract and the other outside backs are bog average so I'm predicting he will be the focus of the Dragon's attack - I want to see how this plays out in the charity shield. GK helps. And available at centre, if he can get to high 30's I'll keep him until rd 12 which he plays.

DFifita has about 37points in base stats in 80min games. Add to that the tackle breaks and attacking stats to get his overall score. I expect him to average about 50-55points. I'm not expecting massive scores to start the season, but I can be wrong

Not sure how much use this would be but if anyone wants to over analyse based on team attacking trends this is quite interesting. Gives a breakdown of where teams score tries and while it is based on the defenses being faced it also gives an idea on team preferences

If he wasn't available at CTR he probably wouldn't have made it into my team

    As long as he
    a) goal kicks
    b) doesn't play winger

Then I am confident in his ability to make some money.
He is cheapish and DPP, so has a few plus points.

Unless a base price players turn up that look very viable, i can't see myself finding a better option.

I'm waning on D Fifita so I fully expect him to destroy everyone in the 9's and then make me question myself

If it’s the 2nd Dragons-Sharks game from last year it was honestly one of the worst games of footy in recent memory.

If the Storm are leading comfortably though they may pull him off with 11-12mins left in some games.
