I started reading their articles etc close to the end of the season last year, I'd say their one of the better podcasts for fantasy (speaking of, what's happening to the fanatics podcast this year).

They've done a fair bit of off-season content which is nice

Find it pretty weird that JMK keeps his HLF DPP given how stingy they've been so far, though am pleased with that as he's one of the players on my watchlist - just hope Katoa doesn't impact him much as MTB said

Also I've noticed that basement price players are slightly higher this year with players who played a game but averaged around 18 are priced 246k, while rookies who haven't played are 228k in contrast to previous years being 228k and 212k respectively

It represents a marginal increase on the minimum spending you have on rookies in emergency:
    2019: 212 * 4 = 848k / 9600k = 8.83% of total salary cap
    2020: 228 * 4 = 912k / 9800k = 9.30% of total salary cap

However, with the rest of players so far looking fairly steady in terms of predicted prices I think it'll even out

Are Brimson fans worried about him getting the Holland treatment? Last year the Bulldogs lost 5 of their first 6 and in that time managed to score an average of 11 points a game during this time.

With the Titans running out a bottom 4 roster the same thing could happen. Note this is a projected line up and certainly doesn't match my opinions on how they run out

    1. AJ Brimson
    2. Jonus Pearson
    3. Kallum Watkins
    4. Brian Kelly

    7. Ash Taylor

not a Brimson fan (he might be in a rough draft, but i'm not looking at him at the moment as some-one i need in my team), but that seems like comparing apples to oranges, it's pretty easy for a centre to go missing when his team is getting touched up, but as a fullback, Brimson should still be involved enough to have more than enough opportunities to score points, it's just a matter of what he does with them, I'm not in the position to go looking right now, but i'm sure there are plenty of examples of great fantasy fullbacks playing in failing teams.

When playing 80 mins at full-back Brimson's average is 45.2 fp. AJ will be in my team from the start if he's priced around a 32 avg. With the Flash Gordon as his mentor he can only improve, he's still only 21

I should be right to get back in on the podcast action with @Random again when the season is back up and running

What does have average when playing 70 or more minutes at hooker, anyone know? (I think there will be better options though a bit cheaper than JMK)

Brimson isnt just some newbie cheapie with a FB spot locked down, he has already shown the ability in fantasy to score well in a shit side. Can’t see why that can’t continue

From halfway through last season I’ve followed them and they seem to know their stuff, one of the guys finished just inside the top 50 last season.

43.5 average as starting HOK (I think low min game in R25 was injury affected, so 44.6 average excluding that) & 48.8 average when playing 70 mins or more

By the way if you want to look at the stats just use MTB's site and scroll down and sort by 2019 season, position and minutes

I just studied up on Brimson and you’re spot on, he may not score his avg at fullback of 42.75 in 2019 in the first six games as Titans have harder opposition, but I’d expect him to still average say 38-39 and he will only get better during the origin and bye round period if he stays fit and then probs will be one to upgrade for the run home as I don’t expect him to be quite keeper level.

With so far there being limited options for value at WFB besides Pappy, Brimson is high up on my maybe list and I probs have him ahead of Isaako and Lomax right now.

One thing I’ve already learnt since being on here is to be even better than last year is detailed bye round planning, I did quite well at it last year but I wanna do a little better in it this year as there is always room for improvement and also getting my round 1 team better than I did last year so I can save those few trades in the early rounds that I had to make last year, I know there is luck involved, but still I wanna control what I can.

Also trying to have a good 18th and 19th man for looping once my cows have peaked and have a bit better squad depth than I did last season.
