Just got home from driving back from Canberra and I see Rein 26 and Dearden 0,wtf? And somehow I’m still in the top 30,surely a drop is coming. Clearly should have got rid of Rein instead of Tolman sigh

Incorrect. In previous years, a score of zero or a negative score would not come in as an emergency. It happened several times.

This is correct, there was a few times where players scored 0 even though they played and people got Emergency scores but that was incorrect and fixed up. So we won't get emergency scores for Dearden. (Not that I have cover.)

He's asking about players outside his 17 with regards to them counting as emergencies, not asking if he'll get an emergency for someone in his 17.

The question is around players in your 18-21 (or 18-25 back in the day) scoring zero or less and whether they count as EMG scores. In previous iterations of the game, they didn't and you'd get the player after them if they scored in the positives.

Just to remove any confusion. If you had Dearden in your 17, you’re fucked. If he’s in your 18-21, you’re still fucked
