I didn't watch the game, but my educated guess is he played 50 minutes.

Johnson converted Sione Katoa's try in the 50th minute.
but 2 minutes later when Chad Townsend scored, Flanagan took the conversion. (SJ might have come back on later in the game, but I doubt it)

Yes just checked the game again. Was ball playing on both sides and kicked 275 meters in 50 minutes. Was on track for 400+ for the game.

Gavet, tatola, host and napa. Gone from having zero frf cheapie prospects to 4 within a week.

The big decision is whether to play one in your 17 or not

    All 4!?
Tatola is in for Burgess while suspended and Host for Sims right? So both will be back to bench pretty soon and plod along or need to be traded.

Gavet and Napa could get an increase in minutes but from 27 and 24 point averages, will they be able to maintain close to 40 to make them worth picking as money makers and potentially playable in the 17? I don't think so and would rather gamble on cheaper players as they are mid $300s and not cut-price.

Sims will slot in and probably take Latimore out of the side. Host is starting 2rf cause Frizzel moves to lock because of the JDB situation.

If Hodkinson starts, then at 237k I’ll think carefully about him in my 21. GK, KM and a decent short kicking game raises his average closer to 30 points

SJ is going to kill it this year both fantasy and real life. He'll average around 60. But you'll have to put up with the odd 45 score which would be frustrating when he costs so much.

    K. Sims has said he wants to play lock so it's not a certainty that he will go into the front row rotation.

I seem to have fallen on a HLF pairing of Hughes/Morgan.

    I like it

SJ is about as consistent as basically every other top half. I wonder if he will be able to shed the image of inconsistency now that he has left the Warriors.

This hasn't been mentioned re SJ in the trial but did you see him hobbling a bit in that game after he kicked the conversion. Maybe a groin issue although there's been nothing mentioned so it must be minor.

    Jahrome Hughes

In 2017 he played 3 games at fullback. Scored 69, 44 and 51 with a try in each game

2018 he played 6 games there
    37, 29, 22, 25, 43, 76 for an average of 38. 2 tries in this period.

Priced at 33, he's definitely got some upside.

Morgan in the halves is the only thing that I hate about my team. Find it easier to cheer on lodge then Morgan. The term shit eatting grin comes to mind when I look at him. I understand the rationale for having him in the team, the more irrational thought is he is a trap. Just can’t shake it

I know 2017 was a massive year for the cowboys, they were never meant to make the top 8 let alone the grand final! Was Morgan just on a whole other level that year? I’ve got a memory like my own shit so I don’t remember how he looked before his injury last year? I know the scores weren’t that great.

I think he played ‘ok’ the arguement for bringing him in is that he scored well when JT was injured last year. Plus, cheap.
