Who would you trade out? Murray/JFH/Kikau (For Fifita)

Best cheapie to bring in for the season? (Under $266k, wont be traded out.)

I'm probably looking at bringing Fifita in this week too. I don't think he will get picked for Origin. It's a lot to pay for a player, but I think he could be worth it. He looked tired last week from obviously a big couple of weeks of games and still got 65. A player that needs to be in I think.

I will probably will go Kikau over JFH. JFH can be like an 18th man, even a good bench backup IMO.

If the Blues pick Fifita it goes in the face of everything they've been saying, "rebuild the culture", etc. You can't pick a bloke who doesn't want to commit to the whole series.

I reckon its all just a media huff and puff. No actual chance of him being picked.

GI fullback this week is quite handy. Will play him over Isaako this week I think. Broncos had something like 7 players (that will play this week) not train yesterday due to various niggles. I expect us to be flat, and lose to the Eels. Would continue the weird form we've had all year. At very least we'll probably limp over the line with a 2 point victory.

Nice team Manlybeaver. Hopefully Pay realises that JMK can not only play 80 minutes but it's better for the team that he does. If BMoz is out (TLT will confirm) then chances are Holland will play ctr so hopefully Pay doesn't bring another utility onto the bench.

Did anyone’s scores change over night and not add up now? I went from winning a h2h game to losing. About a 40 point upgrade to my opposition without any change to the player scores

I think there’s a mistake and they added the points from any trades in players

@NewyCoop Did you do any trades? I noticed the game would recalculate my score when I traded people in.

@Wolfking Think I'm going your direction with Kikau to Fifita. He's only $120k above his start price so he's reasonable

Did you make trades because this happened before and they said it was a glitch and that scores not affected it just appears that way

I would classify Fifita similar to Arrow. Just get him in don't worry about the byes. Imo Fifita won't play origin because you can't just flipflop each week on who you think you can play for. Both Arrow & Fifita are not only guns but are super guns & both look like scoring 60+ each game.
I would trade out Kikau if he starts off the bench again which I think will be his future roll because he's not going to be preferred over Yeo & CHN. It makes more sense having Kikau on the bench because of his impact. I don't think Kikau with a b/e of 50 can match that against the Dragons who have a good edge defense so I think they will contain him. JFH has a b/e of 40 which is very attainable against the Dragons because he's a tackling machine with good run metres.
Players under 266k - Pity you didn't say 268k because the answer would be AJ Brimson but I could only find 2 players
Holland 256k ctr/wfb. Might get a run at ctr for BMoz but will revert back to a bench role when BMoz returns from injury
Te Maire Martin 255k hlf. If the Morgan move to f/b (Coote played Qland Cup last week) is permanent then TMM will start.
I could also mention Staggs 251k 2fr/ctr & he could hang around with all the Broncos injuries but long term security isn't great.
I could mention the Sharks winger S. Katoa 212k wfb but he probably won't get a run in first grade any time soon.

Anyone else noticed that Arrow looked a bit sore after a few tackles? To me he looked slow to get up a few times..

    My Side currently;

    Cook
    Fifita Arrow
    JTurb Harris Surgess
    Arey Cogger
    Mitchell Hiku
    Thompson Ponga Holmes

JFH, TPJ, Kikau, Martin - Lane, RFM, Johnson & Lamb, $330 ITB.

I'm not happy with my backs, but have heaps of cash in EMG. Might upgrade Hiku this week, or downgrade to Holland if Morris is done for a decent time.

Have my eye on Matterson or maybe Lolo for next week (losing cash). Cam Smith will be in for Round 14 if he shows form this week, and possibly Cleary. Holmes, Lane, JFH, RFM and Thompson will all be ripe for sale in a week or 2. Even Kikau if it means I get Smith.

I have no major trades needed this week, most are making money or I have back up (RFM & SJ). By having Cogger and Lamb I have sort of got away with Lamb being injured, Cogger should cover and make cash before Lamb comes in and makes his $$ in a months time!

If anyone has any suggestions let me know. Think I'm on the right track, it's a tricky round with the byes & origin coming. I just can't see any backs worth getting this week.

Quick question, does the price work off the last 5 games or something else? Because if Taupau scores 60 this week, his 5 game average will be 70. 8... That's unreal

Yeah I lost about 15 points and 200 ranks overnight. Haven't even traded anyone in yet. I think Suresh was sitting just outside the top 100 so he fiddled with a few scores after lockout to make the cut.

I agree. I played Capewell (scored 31) over Martin (emg 60 points) & my score has gone up by 29 points which the difference in scores. I can't argue because I've gone up 27 places in rank. Surely they will change it back to the correct score.

Fifi only being that much above his starting price validates the trade IMO.
