Ugh, some headaches this week - feeling the pinch of only having a 21 man squad this year.

Have to bin off Cartwright as I think he will lose money this week. Thinking of Cartwright to Chad Townsend. I also have Lachlan Croker, Marshall-King and Doueihi.

I have Sam Burgess and Kennar but don't want to trade either - leaving me only 2 other spots in the EMGs. One of them is Reece Robinson - not worth trading out but can't put him in my 17 - that'll teach me. Leaves just one other EMG place so have to play 2 of the other halves above or trade one out.

If Doueihi is on the bench, it would be a massive risk to play him in my 17. If I trade Doueihi, I would have $407k to spend - is there anyone other than Maloney to bring in at that price who could go into my 17? Could be any position.

I asked pretty much this exact question earlier lol I couldn't see anyone obvious and it was frustrating being so close to JFH. In all honesty I'll probably just bank the trade at this rate

Just be careful that SJ will actually play this week, would be a shame to trade him in then gets scratched at the last minute. Last week I held off on my trades until the latest I could make them just in case something changed.

Yeah, was cautious about the idea of bringing in SJ, but I really struggle with other options in the Halves. I still rate SJ and Cleary as the clear Gun Halves with DCE probably next best but still a step below. I'd hate to bring in DCE for a bit more certainty for 1 week and then spend the rest of the season wanting to upgrade him to SJ anyway and needing to use another trade.

Alternatively I could leave the Halves looking like dog-crap and save the trades to review in another week - but then I potentially miss around $80k of value with JDB likely down and JFH likely up.

Play L. Croker in the halves with DCE or trade Havili to Maloney to partner DCE. I know Havili still has cash to make but all my other cows are not a sell & Havili is the best option to sell. Cheers.

I think my team is solid enough to do CS9>Macca which equals another 13 player and I get Smith back or I don't. Food for thought.

Got properly burned last season trading CS9 out before 91 then got back and lowest score was 53 the next 5. The 91 had 20pts from kicking goals and metres but 28pts from 4 TA+LBA and do Storm really look that good right now???

If you're not keen on Maloney, just save a trade and play Croker

After playing L. Croker last week I think I'll bring in Maloney as he's now the dominant half, kicker both goals & general play & Penrith will destroy the Eels so I think there's plenty of attacking points on offer for Maloney.

Hi boys, a couple of options

    (a) Merrin--> Hunt then Cartright--> JFH

    (b) Smith--> Johnson then Cartright to TPJ( non playing reserves)

    (c) Merrin --> Murray then JFH/TPJ leaving cash behind.

Although Murray is a player i do want, my halves are Matterson and then JMK/Dough/Croker

Having to desperately sort my halves this week and I'm stuck on two options.

    A) DCE + Townsend
    B) Koro + Matterson

All play 13, think I am leaning towards A as they will be playing 80 each week.

Option (a) for me as per your reasoning.

Yeah trouble with bringing in SJ this week is he is coming back from a groin injury. Will he kick goals, will he run the footy? With Green doing alot of the kicking you need SJ getting those TBs

I'd be wary about b) with SJ back from injury.
    I like a) personally.

What about Smith to Hunt and Carty to JFH? Sorts your Half issue and still leaves you a good bank.

Yea that is true, but merrin is slowing going down due to less minutes from JFH though

I agree mate. There's no way I would buy SJ this week because there's too much uncertainty.
