My final team im looking at:

Cook
Fifita, Arrow
Taumalolo, Taupau, JTurbo
DCE, Cleary
Aitken, Dugan
Ponga, Teddy, TTurbo

Smith, Macca, Matterson, Harris

Problem will be no cover unless the base price players are decent. Will leave me with 7 trades for injuries.

May need to skimp somewhere to get a decent 18th man maybe Surgess instead of Taupau will be helpful.

As players are priced right now I can afford all these trades with 10k to spare.
So hoping things dont change too much. Will have to get Harris first in Rd14

That looks a faultless final team really LB. You'll just need to have a playing WFB/CTR in you EMG, and a decent 18th man and you should be OK.. Although I remembering losing half my squad in the last month a couple years ago, but that can't be predicted!

I'm planning a similar looking squad over the coming 2-3 weeks, although will gambling in the backs more than yours. Hopefully 1 or 2 pay off, and have $$ later to grab Teddy.

Only have 1 trade this week, jumping on Fonua from Lamb, and playing him this week.

Will likely be dumping Holmes and JFH next week for Smith and Gutho/RTS.. Really hoping Gutho comes good, averaged mid 40's in the past. Needs to show form though.

Following week, Thompson will be finally arsed for Rapana/Dugan/Mbye, and Lane probably downgraded. Should give me the coin to upgrade TPJ and RFM to top guns (Lolo, Matterson, Macca or someone. Cleary?). TPJ and RFM ideally firm as keepers, but not convinced. 18th men maybe?

Im jumping on the spreadsheets today to nerd it up with some planning. Cant wait. No work for me today!

If I want an 18th man I will most likely need to run with Hiku as a CTR keeper for the season.
TTurbo is more of a luxury as Walker will be making way, can always keep him and save two trades there.

Im emotionally attached to Kikau. He's done so well for me. But my mind is telling me to trade him to Fonua. This game can be cruel sometimes

Morgan could be a smokey mid ranger for the backs, although origin will get in the way and he's been shit this season. Him vs Gutho could be on my radar next week.

I've always rated his running game, but taking away the final 2 months of last season I haven't seen what others see in him.. At fullback I expect good things.

Lone Scout says don't get Terepo because stint at lock will be over when Brown back.

Am I wrong or has Terepo only played at lock rd 7 8 9 first low score of 28 but only 42 mins when they flogged Manly so not big issue and has averaged 50 mins interchange or starting prop rest of games

Apparently Brown is playing for Wenty this week & BA said he's getting him match fit for round 13.

After more spreadsheeting and promoting Hiku and Walker to keepers I will need 768k roughly to turn 6 guys to 750k keepers.

Which means I'm 250k short of doing so. Brimson and Martin will allow that gap to close a bit.

Really need another good cow or two.

I want to bring in Arrow but it makes much more sense bringing in Taupau who will outscore him over 2 games including round 13. But I've owned Taupau before over the origin period & he's burnt me but this year Taupau seems to be playing big minutes due to injury.
However to me Taupau is overpriced at an 60 average when he is only a 50 average player & 877k means I'm left with no bank.

Would you keep Hiku/Walker or RFM/Kikau as keepers in a final 18??

The other two will be upgraded??

I am definitely not a fan of paying overs by that much.
