Sorry Pookus that was meant to say I think he should play 80 mins not he could haha.

I just have this feeling that Brown is gonna have a slow start. I'm hoping to pick him up around the 650k mark

Ah yeah I get ya. I am sure he could play 80 with his big motor.
If Brown starts slow it will only be because of his minutes being cut rather than poor output. That kid is a terrier

For me to stick with Brown, Smith will have to be on the bench and Beau Scott will have to be out of the 17

Haven't seen Chrichton, TTurbo or Cleary mentioned in teams?

    Something I'm missing?

Too expensive might get dumped later in the year, Same role priced accordingly, new partnering half that'll actually do something that may affect his scores

Hey Guys, new to the forum, any advice appreciated.

Having problems deciding between Pearce and DCE? I will plan to have Croker on the bench with a mid range player to compliment Pearce/DCE.

I think both should see a significant rise in kick metres due to halves partners of Croker and Watson. However I am uncertain as to who would be the better pick and additionally who to compliment them?

    Why the Scott hangup?
He was relegated to the bench for Brown after 4 rounds and never grabbed it back, even before his injury.

For games Brown played 49-69 mins at lock (albeit only 5), he still averaged 56.4
For games 49-73 mins at lock (7 games) he averaged 57
Games 49-77 minutes at lock (12 games) he averaged 55
And for games 49-82 mins at lock (19 games) he averaged 55
However his minutes get split he still seems the goods. Don't see him with less than 49 mins.

    Hey mate welcome!

I think DCE is the pick of the bunch I'm looking to see if I can squeeze him ( and Townsend) into my team. Croker is going to be a passenger wont run much wont kick much. DCE will pick up plenty

I like DCE of those two. What more can Pearce possibly do to improve on 2017? DCE with a rookie half instead of Blake eating his KMs and TAs can feesibly improve upon his already decent average. It's not that Pearce won't have a good fantasy season, he may well, but I just don't see any further heights than what he reached and is priced at (and you can use the $100k elsewhere to beef up your team)

Who is most likely to average the most points: Nathan Brown or Simon Mannering?

Yeah I would agree with Manners. But I am still going Brown for $115k less! Razz

Hayne keeps finding his way into my team. Damn the lack of decent ctr options.

Hey man. Honestly, both those guys are guns so you can't go wrong with either. Pearce is probably the better scorer overall, but given the price difference I'm personally leaning towards DCE. I think he's slightly better value at $715K

Unlikely I think. Bevan French will be fullback, and is honestly a good chance of keeping that spot when Gutho is fit again. The back 5 will probably be something like:

    French
    Auva'a, Hoffman
    Jennings, Hayne
    Smith to be #14

I think Taka will probably miss out.

They'd really play Hoffman on the wing over Taka in the centres?

I don't have any actual information, just speculating based of what I've been reading. But I think so. Although personally I'd rather have Taka out there. It'll come down to where Brad Arthur thinks he can get the most of Hayne.
