I like Croft for around the same price better, think he will turn into a fantasy gun with his surrounding talent, I may just start the season with Croft and a LCroker/Cleeland if they look like getting a full time half berth and bulk up elsewhere

I would have figured Frawley to partner Foran in the halves. Cleeland may get some time during the season for sure, but surely Pay doesn't blood a debutante round 1, albeit a mature 26 year old one.
I too like Croker, will definitely have him in my squad, still trying to work out if I trust him in the 17.

Edit: wholeheartedly agree on Croft though. Those Storms just roll out the superstars on the conveyorbelt one after the other

Hey Welshy hope you are well. Mate I can never seem to get that bit working. Excel hates me, I see no use for it other than NRL fantasy. In previous seasons Milchy put a heap of tabs including the last few seasons, positions, minutes etc and that's what I've been going with previously (although I just downloaded it again thinking it might work on my home desktop and note there is a couple of extra tabs suggesting the cow is doing periodic updates, love that guy!) but yeah can't seem to get that look up bit working. I'll keep googling it. Regards

Are we not thinking a cheap Manly 5/8?

All good mate, glad to have the NRL fantasy season starting to fire up! you might be spelling the names wrong haha! use look up to get the player you want and copy paste it into the lookup bit!

If you are struggling give me a shout and Il paste some player stats in for you!

Sounds like Frawley has the inside track if you listen to that Mbye and Lichaa interview, whoever gets that Manly half berth alongside DCE could be gold as all options are cheap and half is the easiest place to score points (minus Elgey) Razz

With Munster doing little to no kicking, Croft should get around ~300km a game with some decent tackling stats he will be well set.

    Yes

LCroker/Hastings both cheap, hopefully they don't sign Hodgko

Holy Shit! You are right, I didn't really know what to do there and guessed I needed to put the name in like you said several times (and F9 seems to be an issue on the laptop) but never got it right. I've probably tried putting a name there several times but tonight's effort was matt scott instead of matthew scott. Success!

You know I even remember saying to myself, it might be a spelling thing, so I'll try a name easy to spell like matt scott, hahaha What a Face

It wouldn't be a bad strategy to run with a few extra cheap halves on the bench this season

True but depends on how the bench will work, no word on that yet?

The new forced drop out points go to the kicker right? (or the tackler???) I don't have stats but Thurston comes immediately to mind as a beneficiary.

Gagai made over six TB's and 135m per game in a wooden spoon team and only two tries for the year. Surely he improves at the Rabbitohs even in their "rebuilding phase".

His TBs and RM should remain around the same, any extras for Gagai will be from tries.

highly doubt he loses much if any value, tough for him to improve much over 45 PPG unless he scores over 10 tries, would just be a keeper in the ctrs from the off IMO mate

Page 16 Milch posted a list of guys with over 10 forced drop outs last year

JT obviously won't be on the list though

By the look of it, you could add about 2 points per game on to most of the dominant halves in the competition. A win for HLF's generally maybe?

Do we have any data on how Watson has performed at 5/8, specifically when partnering Pearce?

    Just on excel.
On my sheets I turn automatic calculations off. There are so many formulas on different worksheets that otherwise it can slow everything down as it recalculates everything every time you change anything.
If you want to you can set automatic calculations on under the "formulas" tab.
Otherwise you can press shift+F9 to recalculate the sheet you are on. That is for windows, if you have a Mac or something else its another button.

All the background data is still there, I've just hidden the sheets. No password or anything, so just unhide it all if your want to have a look.

On the bench. You are going to want to have a sub for every position on the field. Maybe for WFB/CTR you can have that as one person, but for every other position I think you'll want a dedicated sub.

That only gives you 2-3 spare slots to play with. And those last spots are likely going to be cheapest, so what position they are might be dependent on team lists.

But certainly DPP is going to be a massive consideration
