8835 to start the season. The number drops as the season goes on.
That's what I'm basing all my price predictions on. Of course it's liable to change for next year

Has anybody got a run down of fantasy points for each of the games of the finals?

Finals stats are in my spreadsheet. Just look at tabs F1, F2, F3 and GF
Finals stats also appear in the breakdown sheet after the averages.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy pre-thread
New Year has started, time for things to start getting a bit serious.
Starting to look at some players. First up,
Chris McQueen
Been mentioned as someone who might benefit from a move to the titans and getting more game time
Last year he averaged 34.2 points and 67 minutes a game
In games where he played 70 minutes or more (15 of his 23 games) he averaged a slightly higher 38.4
2014 games where he played 70 minutes (6 of his 17 games) or more he averaged 30.3 (4 of his 6 scores were under 30 when playing big minutes)
Going back to 2013 he played big minutes nearly every week and still only averaged 32.
Its possible he might suddenly become a workhorse with a move to the titans, but I am betting no. Probably best to avoid.

Agreed on McQueen. Not sure what his price will be but will be a wait and see. Should be still cheap enough if he does turn things around Fantasy wise in the first few rounds.

Agree on Mcqueen SI and Milch, was only ever servicable when he was available in the CTR a few years back

Is it congratulations or commiserations on the engagement mate?

Kane Elgey injured in training, out for season.
So looks like Ash Taylor might be joining Jackson Hastings in everyone's teams

Anyone know what Morts will be worth? Can't remember how he went in the back end of the season.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy pre-thread
Is Ash Taylor going to get a lot of kicking? Morts could be a solid 3rd half if his awesome defensive stats are coupled with extra kicking.
Also, I get lost in his eyes

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy pre-thread
the tits fans were rejoicing in getting rid of one overhyped former qld backrower that would sit on the edges and bludge and have no interest in doing the hard work in the middle and then they sign McQueen.
Hard luck for kane, looked like a great setup for him to develop into a premium playmaker. Ash Taylor might get rookie of the year and kill it so all is not lost. Just makes it boring that he will be in 98% of the teams now

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy pre-thread
Ash Taylor probably won't start season, he's injured too.
Mortimer should start ~$365k - priced at an average of 41.3
His average as starting half is 43.8, so a touch underpriced. Wheteher he is worth it or not depends on if you think ASh Taylor will be rushed in or not, and if you think he can generate enough attacking stats at the titans
His biggest kicking games were the games when he had Josh Hoffman as a halves partner.
He won't be doing that much if paired with Hodkinson.

I thought Hodkinson was at the Knights with Mullen and Mortimer, Elgey and Taylor were at the Titans?

Milchy still coming down from the festive season. Cheers for the pricing, was hoping he'd be high 200ks.Bren wrote:I thought Hodkinson was at the Knights with Mullen and Mortimer, Elgey and Taylor were at the Titans?
Just on Hodko, he may not be ready for the season kick off apparently so who gets the gig there? Mullen plus a rookie might make Mullen a tempting potential trap again.

You're right about Hodkinson.
It's Tyrone Roberts who'll be partnering Morts if Taylor isn't ready

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy pre-thread
NRL.com are starting to pump out the Fantasy articles for 2016. Getting excited now. Is it me or does Hurrell actually look fit ( well not as fat as he has been in previous years ).
