Here I was thinking we had an addiction to fantasy.

That is ridiculous. He only has himself to blame. Makes my $5 or $10 entry into the eliminator look pathetic haha.

It's interesting to note his wife only found out after 2 years of the mortgage not being paid, how does a bank let you get away with that?Bren wrote:That is ridiculous. He only has himself to blame. Makes my $5 or $10 entry into the eliminator look pathetic haha.

So who is the player you guys want most next year but know there is no chance you will choose them. (Due to their price.)

I always start with a relatively strong WFB. Nothing worse then having a shit WFB and seeing blokes like RTS go big and you dont have them in your side.

Will be interesting to see what Ferguson starts at. If he gets the fullback gig then he should become a mid priced gun.

M. Gordon will surely have the fulltime role at the Eels and will hopefully link up nicely with K. Foran. Anyone else looking at him?

There is one thing worse.
Watching your side flop because you've wasted all your money on WFB and can't afford enough genuine guns elsewhere

Started this year with Bmoz, Tedesco and Coote. Where did I waste my money? Hmm?

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy pre-thread
This. Spending $450k on a wfb and them scoring 30's while mid-rangers are pumping out 45's sucks. Centre has been a position to go cheap the last few years and I'll probably do the same this year.Milchcow wrote:

Nothing worse than getting injuries in round 1 and 2 and having to replace those instead of bringing in cash cows you have missed

Nothing worse then getting screwed by Fanhub and then them not knowing the rules to their own comp when trying to get it rectified.

Didnt Bmoz get injured for ages after a couple of rounds then Coote only started playing in round 3?

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy pre-thread
Missed this post. Coote was cheap once he was named and both Bmoz and Teddy were undervalued, so no money wasted there. It'll likely cost as much as all 3 of them did to get RTS and Teddy next year so a very different situation I reckon.Bren wrote:

Im hoping Mansour drops in price a fair bit. Hopefully there will be another WFB/HKR next year.
