So I walked down the road to this lure bought some chocolate and caught a couple of pokemon before a Ivysaur (?) turned up. I caught it, my phone froze and I haven't been able to log back on since.

I had been wondering all day what a bulbasaur evolved into.

Bit gutted tbh!

yes mate one of the original base 3 from the 1st Gen of 250!

I play the online card game and there are around 700 odd now!

Do i bother boosting my original charmander or will i encounter his evolutions later in the game

I personally don't think there's much point boosting them especially if they are low CP to start with.

There's a stop 30 seconds down the road, this game is done and my captain has failed.

+1. Dont power up anything, especially at the lower levels. I'm level 17 currently and haven't powered up anything.

Pretty unsuccessful hunt.

Saw a Muk on my radar, then it disappeared. Just the usual Zubats, Pidgeys etc. Need to go into town more, will be tomorrow.

Not going to post my team up today because nothing has changed really. I did find a 650 odd Hitmonlee though

Rare Pokemon I think... plus the common ones.

Just sat in the park which only a few houses down from me (pokestop) and used the lure to try catch some Pokemon. Three cars then came and parked on the side of the road and left exactly when the lure ended. One of the most embarrassing things I've ever done.

Meanwhile the lure only got me like 8 more Doduo and a handful of other duds

You brought all the pokemon ladies to your yard!

On my walk to the shops earlier, there was a couple sitting outside playing, one chick plaing next to the door and having a smoke. Two people sitting across the road and one person in a car parked up on the side of the road. Also saw a couple of people wandering - all near the lure. So good! Can't believe how much of a thing this is!

Missed a squirtle on a freeze which would of given me the set!

Have to start with a Charmander, So little great fire types in the original game I went with that notion at the start!

At least you can evolve your Dodou now
