For images, if you rightclick an image and get the image url. (Like you did for the link) Then place [ img] [/ img] brackets around it. It will show the image.

The team has Tim Simona, so it already wins in my books.

But yeah, I wouldn't love that team. The coach was a fill in for the last place in the comp. He didn't really take it seriously enough, and didn't draft well to start with imo...

Thanks mate. Not from Sportal though... Can't believe I didn't know you guys were around. Only come across this site after going on my recruitment drive to replace my deserter...

I would post closer to the draft date. (1 Month - 2 Weeks out.) If you can't get interest I will jump in on it. But doubt I will travel for a live draft.

Long story short we are in our infancy here.  Randomsil started this forum early this year as a back up/alternative because the Sportal platform was having serious issues.  The majority of us here now are the start of the Sportal exodus to NRL Fantasy Fanatics.

Alot of us are devastated that Sportal died, but are moving on.  That place went off Fantasy wise and was THE original DT chat site 7 or 8 years ago.  We hit nearly 3000 pages this year; behind Renegades we would have the most popular site.  Milchcow (team: Almost Arrogance) here was the 2015 VSDT Eliminator champion; John Frink from Sportal (team: Varnsen) won 2015 VSDT overall; and PhilGouldsChins from Sportal was the Fantasy overall winner this year   .  That place was an absolutely tremendous community, and with a lot of the posters now starting to come across, and new guys who appear to be diehards like yourself, we can see this forum becoming just as good, if not better  

We will be quiet here until a month or 2 out of season 2016 but we are pretty excited that this place will take off when word gets out.

Haha, sounds good to me! I'm not sure why I never made it to Sportal... Seems I've been missing out all these years. Just hope someone here is keen on picking up our loose team and tidies it up a bit over the off season

I currently run a social group that plays fantasy NRL in 14 team divisions through Nearly Sport. In our Champions League we have a 12 team live draft so if you've got any questions about how to run it or anything for that matter, I'd be happy to give you a hand.

I've been looking for a good fantasy forum for a while to assist in recruitment for my fantasy NRL social group. This might just be the place.

Not sure if you have read the rest of the thread but I was explaining to mrots that we are the replacement Sportal Fantasy/DT forum, and that place absolutely rocked-nearly 3000 pages of Fantasy talk last year with just the right amount of banter   .  We have the reigning Fantasy champion and reigning VSDT Eliminator champion, and the VSDT overall winner was a part of the Sportal threads as well.

NRL Fantasy is the most popular and id say we'll be using that. Likely to look at 2 leagues, 1 in Brisbane (someone else will need to run draft) and 1 in Sydney

I haven't responded yet.

I wouldn't mind turning up for a draft just for the social aspect and because drafts are fun. but I already have enough teams in various comps that I won't be able to commit the time to actively managing the team during the year. So if there is still a space I'll sign up.

Where are we up to on this? Calendar is getting full but it looks like I'm going to be in Sydney between 22&26 Feb for work. In NZ from 4-16 feb
