TMM to Carty is the only trade currently being contemplated.

Bird can wait 1 week. I dont expect him to play 80 returning from knee surgery game 1.

Bird is a big trap. Anyone goes down in the backline and he's there. JDB to come back too.

Not impressed with Ray Stone being out. Injured or cut?
Gives me a loophole for the round at least and he doesn't appear to be an urgent trade out.

Garner owners also dumping him? I dont see a way for him to improve those scores bar scoring loads of tries based on how he was used and his mins

Is BMM up for consideration? Decent charity shield stats, I guess waiting to see how Bird and De Belin both fit in the team is the smart play, but after birds while ‘i don’t want to be moving around the line-up to fill gaps anymore’ interview, surely moving him out wide early is off the table.

Ford's going to be the one that got away for me this year and I'm happy to risk it. I just cannot see a world where he holds Curran out of that team.

Yup. More like Luke Goner.

Looking at:
Smith > JoKing
Katoa > Thompson

King looks like he could play 80 again this week without Sims back, not even mentioned in the team lists. Hard to resist an 80 minute lock who looks to have stepped up again this season at $550k.

Thompson looks like the $300k guy that I often miss in the CTRs, works hard, if Latrell plays, he will be passing the ball off every time, not taking the hard yards. Was very unlucky not to score 20 points more at the weekend. Also gives me some exposure if Souths are actually going to start playing right side more.

Leaves me $98k for next week, when I will look at the nuclear option of trading Cleary out, to get both Harris and Mahoney in next week.
