NRL Team Lists and Late Mail 2023

I've created this 2023 thread in honour of Pacey.

Going by the last two seasons, it looks like none of us can do the sterling Late-Mail job that Pacey used to do (even though some of us have tried, with varying levels of success).

What I will try to do in this thread each week is post the following links from the official NRL website each week:

1) Casualty Ward (injuries/suspensions) page
- permanent page, updated regularly throughout the whole SEASON

2) Teams List page
- created each TLT, and updated 60 minutes before each game, throughout the whole ROUND

3) Late Mail page
- created each week, either on Wednesday or Thursday, and updated regularly throughout the whole ROUND

NB: The links only need to be posted once each per week, since the NRL updates the pages throughout the round.

IMO the NRL website DOESN'T always do a good/prompt/accurate job of updating team-list news, so if anyone can post better Late Mail (like Pacey used to), please feel free to do so in this thread.

EDIT: I'll also post a link to Stilesy's Late Mail (on Twitter), which is a valuable one-stop resource.

Final teams for Eels vs Storm

Eels: no changes from 24hrs, Lumelume on wing for Simo confirmed
Storm: Bronson Garlick replaces Chris Lewis on bench

No probs, will try and keep this up all season but no promises! Also very happy for people to cut my rug and jump in instead

Warriors v Knights
No further changes from the 24 hr update

Manly have moved Alolai to lock, Keppie to bench
Bulldogs are 1-17

Sharks vs Rabbitohs
Sharks 1-17
Rabbitohs have decided to start Moale and Chee Kam, with Burgess and Arrow benched

Titans v Tigers 24 hr alert
Stimson is in the run-on side, and “Bob Jane” McIntyre up to the bench. This is covering for Fermor ACL injury, so there’s longevity there for anyone brave enough

Dolphins v Roosters
Dolphins have NULL NULL in for EseEse
Roosters have promoted Hutchinson to CTR, Allan reverts to bench. Turpin is also on the bench - ruh-oh Cheese - with Fletcher Baker dropped

Tigers v Titans

Simpkin and Twal starting ahead of Koriosau and JOfa

Stimson starts and McIntyre on bench due to Fermor ACL

I’ve just been using NRL.com

Not much of a Twitter person

I think I’ve been slower than someone in the main thread everytime, but there’s merit in the news being easier to find in this thread

I'm not much of a Twitter person either Rob.

The reason Pacey started this thread many years ago (and the reason why I've tried to keep it alive over the past couple of years) is so that it's easy for people to find the late mail on this forum.

Even when/if someone does post late mail in the main thread, there's so much traffic in there, especially on game day, that it's not easy to search for and/or find it.

Tbh, I don't understand why people post late mail in main thread, and then someone (anyone) doesn't think to immediately re-post it in this thread.
