Sportal Down?!?!?!

It just sucks for part time posters such as Al who will probably not be able to get on and see we've all moved!

However there is no reason why we cannot turn this forum in Sportal V2 of sorts. Word of mouth and quality posting (especially during the Fantasy season) will see this place pick up and thrive. You have a lot of contacts from Sportal users correct? No reason why most if not all posters can make the switch and we can run Fantasy Leagues / eliminator etc next year.

Did you manage to extract the last round of auction bids lad?

Are we still able to access the Sportal SUG on Fantasy. If we can get a post up there it may help some people locate the forum. Otherwise as previously mentioned Weapons/Renegades posts if permissable on Facebook could help.

I took screen shots of the entire SUG a few months ago  and have that reasonable list of contacts outside of the SUG as well .  A few of us are in Legends as well; I may approach admin about potentially sharing the site.  Sportl and Legends are probably the 2 most similar communities of them all.

HOWEVER I would strongly suggest we hold off on sharing links on the other pages until we have this one well and truly established over the next few months.

Yep, I have the list I can work on over the next few weeks and most other posters seem to have a couple of contacts here and there as well.

I was on Sportal since 2007. Geez that was closing on ten years which is kinda sad when you think about it hahaha.

Might be worth putting something on twitter and the facebook groups? Maybe include @NRLNews, OTLS and other prominent fantasy twitter accounts and asking them to RT to get the word out, not sure how many Sportal guys were active on Social media.
