A CTR scoring over 40 is absolutely zero worry, regardless of position

McGuire and Fui back in a week or two? I doubt Bird stays there when those two come back in.

21 green dots. 0 trades that 'need' to be made.

I don't know what to do with myself ha.

He was mid twenties last week until a zero-metre slappy "run" in the last five minutes got him up to 44. He does always seem to get those plays though, it just feels so dirty.

At first glance im looking at:

    Matto and Laurie out.
    Fifita and SJ in.

That would leave me with 11 trades and 141k and the following for this week:

    McCullough
    Tohu Haas
    Fifita Crichton CHN
    Cleary Fogarty
    Avo Bird
    Teddy Hynes Walsh

    Hunt SJ Watson Schuster (loop)
    Jones Peachey Burton Ramsay

Will look into it all a bit deeper over the next couple of days but pretty happy with where my squad is at for now. Gives me 6 round 17 players (7 if Crichton plays) which I think is enough for now and I'll bring in any stand out options if they pop up over the next couple of weeks.

I need to strengthen my WFB and I’m considering bringing in Latrell. Has a BE of 75 but is playing the Broncos this week so could hit that but he is no use for R17.

Wanting to trade one of Moses/bhunt/fog out to Avo

Difficult one. Gut tells me Moses as other than two runs he’s done nothing and lost his base recently. Similar to fog though and Bhunt has DPP and a POD

Any feedback as to who would be the best out?

    Landed on

    Laurie > Verrills
    Lodge > Harris

I’ve formed quite a bond with Lodge, I’ll be saddened to see him go.

From what I can see he scores the same at Ctr as he does at 2rf…..remarkably consistent (as he was for that 8 or 9 rounds he played Ctr at Brisbane a couple of seasons ago)
I can’t believe I went Robert’s over him at the start….the injuries spooked me I think

Oh yeah I wasn’t alluding to scoring. Just why I thought he would be back at CTR in a couple of weeks. Very consistent indeed, I grabbed Olam so that basically highlights my skill as a fantasy coach

It’s a bit of a wasteland for R17…..none of Trbo, Ponga, Latrell, Teddy, Papy, even To’o are going to play and you probably don’t want anyone else

Yeah I'm tempted. I think MS summed it well. He ticks the boxes of primary playmaker, primary kicker and goal kicker, talented ball runner and averaging very well with a high ceiling, dpp and plays rd17 (and passes the eye test Very Happy )

Also plays for the bulldogs who don't win many games so bound to come unstuck at some stage. If that happens at the end of year, great play. If it happens in a couple of weeks, wasted trade. It's a lot of funds to risk on a bulldogs half. that said, I have the funds. I can do fitzgibbon to Averillo on top of my other trades no problem.

I'm not one to care about POD's either, but.....a lot of the leaders have him, got him cheap and now I get to pay full price (overs?) for the same scores going forward. It might be better for me to pick a different "gun" and hope that flannagan or lewis find their way back into the team especially with the dogs tough immediate draw and historic shittiness.

Feels like one of those calls where you get fucked either way.

Its Avo vs Manu for me. The reason I haven't considered Avo before is I fully expected Flanagan to come back after a couple of weeks. That hasn't happened. Avo is getting too hard to ignore

Good point. I think I’ll do it as he has come down a bit in price recently. Can do Hynes to Papy or Turbo later for third gun. Have Simo as backup.

All this Avo talk turns up the FOMO fierce.
But, he's bloody expensive, for a centre and he plays for the Dogs.
How long before he runs into a top team who shut him down?
Edit: just checked - Eels / Manly / Roosters / Rabbits
Next 4 games aren't going to be like playing the Dragons who looked they didn't want to be there.
It's as stupid as expecting Simmo to gun it every week like he did against the Donkeys.
Great work (luck) to all those who held him, but he won't be making it into the Bludgers 17. geek

Casual reminder that Averillo scored more than Cleary when the Dogs played Penrith last.
