Only 80K more than Host and probably the better player in an up and coming team.

Not sure on his job security and his average last season between 30-70 min games is 31.6 and will he play 80 mins every week?

According to previous thread re: Waddell – I wish I knew if he would be playing 80 minutes… It appears Barrett wants a bench hooker this year (JMK/Katoa when JMK back) then Napa and Renouf and RFM on the bench, all look to be taking middle minutes?

Wouldnt RFM play edge? and if he did play middle he probably will push josh Jackson onto the edge. I don't think Barret will play 2 80 minute edges even with a backup hooker

Just to refer to a post from the previous thread.

You should definitely start Turpin and have Liddle bench.

For any 2 players in your scoring 17, start whichever one plays first. That way if you want to utilise rolling lockout you have more flexibility in the replacement.

If Liddle is a late withdrawal, or you otherwise get cold feet, much easier to replace him if he is 14-17 rather than starting 9.

14-17 should be the players who play last during the round, if possible.

Waddell is clearly going to play more than 30 minutes as a starting edge.

Whether RFM takes that spot off him in future weeks is another question, but his minutes are safe this week.

After some mental gymnastics I have decided that if Host ends up being dropped for koloa after a couple rounds then I can simply trade him straight to koloa. Does anyone think Knight will push Koloa back into the starting side sooner? i.e. Knight bench as the impact and Koloa in for Host. Looks like Knight might only miss this week with a concussion?

Waddell has been on my radar all pre season and I'm now considering going back to him instead of Siliti. I'm basically taking two punts in my side, one is Milford and the other is that last spot. The extra cash getting Waddell does allow a little bit more cash either in the kitty or on position #21 too..

Sitili more for boom/bust scoring potential and plays in a top side. Potential break out year.
Waddell higher workrate but can be a rocks/diamonds type of player and has more pressure on his spot.

I guess scoring 40 with a starter and 50 from the bench is much better than scoring 50 as starter and 40 on the bench

    Good decision.

I like Welch. Purely because he's cheaper, and has more security at starting prop. Bsmith loses his spot in 5 weeks and goes back to 40 points a game off the bench. Welch will score consistent 50-55 And priced at a touch above 40 should make great cash and wont have to be considered trading out until maybe bye rounds/upgrade in the later weeks

Here's the Wags team - still working on the #thatsmyteam rules.
Every team must be represented in the scoring 17, and no more than 2 players from any one team.
    Cook
    Harris / Watson / Brown
    Riki / Fifita
    Cleary / Munster
    Averillo / Hammer
    Teddy / Moylan / Laurie

    Alvaro / Liddle / Simonsson / Gossie / Liddle
Brailey / Niu / Saab / Stefano (yeah I know he becomes the 3rd Tiger, but there's literally no one else at that price)

    Basketball
