TD: Move Simo from reserves to starting WFB and trade Laurie to Bird to replace Kris

Leaves 10 trades & money for Hynes to Fifita in 1 trade next week

I have to admit Taupau wasn't close to being on my radar before chat earlier but my earmarked options of Lolo & AFB are sinking like stones and aren't really showing keeper potential as of yet

Since I don’t trust that to happen I might just grab Verrills and hold on tight

Yeah I'm tempted. I think MS summed it well. He ticks the boxes of primary playmaker, primary kicker and goal kicker, talented ball runner and averaging very well with a high ceiling, dpp and plays rd17 (and passes the eye test )

Also plays for the bulldogs who don't win many games so bound to come unstuck at some stage. If that happens at the end of year, great play. If it happens in a couple of weeks, wasted trade. It's a lot of funds to risk on a bulldogs half. that said, I have the funds. I can do fitzgibbon to Averillo on top of my other trades no problem.

I'm not one to care about POD's either, but.....a lot of the leaders have him, got him cheap and now I get to pay full price (overs?) for the same scores going forward. It might be better for me to pick a different "gun" and hope that flannagan or lewis find their way back into the team especially with the dogs tough immediate draw and historic shittiness.

Feels like one of those calls where you get fucked either way.

Any interest in SST instead of Taupau? 150k cheaper, could potentially hit similar scores especially with that bench

Not entirely set on that 3rd trade, may wait around for AFB/Lolo and see if Watson is a sell
