Curious to know, is anyone else planning to run 3 gun halves? Not sure I have seen it in any other teams.

I’m convinced - or have at least convinced myself - injuries have made him the #2 forward on a 3 forward bench. So I agree that worst case he’s a slow burn cow and an emergency 20-30 scorer, best case he gets an edge role down the track

I think everyone’s 18-21 is going to be more thin than usual with how this season is setup and you’re well placed.

Right now I have Croft and Mann and thinking of adding DCE

I’d guess the most common config is 3 hookers and Carrigan, or 2 hookers, Carrigan and another forward. But halves might fall into place later. Hard to run with 3 when you’ve have Cleary and Moses both with tricky periods out

Depends how low Munster and Moses go after their injuries, but probably not.

My hot take is that Cade Cust will be the 6 before Walker gets back from injury. Croker just isn't up to standard and Cust looks electric

Eh I don't know... I'm happy to just hold Wiliame, selling doesn't free up a lot of cash and he's useful to loop my three trash centres. You would want to be sure Croker makes cash, and I'm not sure he does, his scoring is just terrible, and that's if he keeps his role, Des could give someone else a go to like Cust or someone. I did look at him because, as I've posted a few times, I need a half, but no, just can't do it.

It was in my initial plans to run with DCE/Cleary/Moses until Mofo turned up and the value was too good. Still an outside chance I move Carrigan to starting 2RF, with Moses coming in on his return, but would have no cover for FRF or 2RF on the bench

tl;dr would love to but the hookers score more points and team balance doesn't work

No, but I was thinking SCrichton's price is starting to get up there and he could be useful to free up some cash in the following weeks, particularly if another cheapie popped up. Just going to wait and see.
