I got you covered, never forget my early kindy days, it goes like this:
The ankle bone is connected to the PEC-TORAL
The pectoral is connected to the SHIN-BONE.

James Roberts to be dropped. Training with reserves. So too Isaako. Isaako is training with reserves at fullback. Could be giving him time there in QCup this week. Boyd stays at fullback in their current training set up. - Chris Garry

I'm holding Bateman to wait and see what comes out this week. At the start of the year, I picked Bailey Simonsson after reading reports that Rapana might have been out for 8 weeks. Week 2 came around and Rapana was back. If they are not yet sending Bateman for surgery, he could be back sooner than 4 weeks. The NRL physio is only guessing based on what he sees and reads - he hasn't inspected the player.

    I need to save trades.

Anyone going Bateman to Latrell. He only plays 3 of the next 4 games but we all know he could still outscore any ctr that plays 4 games.

The stuff today is saying at least 5 weeks, longer if surgery is required. I dunno though, as you say we've a bit of a history with blokes coming back sooner than reported.
Edit: Should provide the Source in case you want to take a look yourself.

Agree with this, but also it suuuuurreeeely doesnt stay that way right? No way you want Milf as your primary Kicker across the park, I have to assume Deardon has a kicking game and will slowly get a bigger share of the duties.

You would expect so. Dearden seems to be the organiser and he will start demanding ball once his core role is more defined.

Cheers mate, I've always found after a good run my left pec is always quite sore.
Probably just need to stretch more.

Agree mate, and theres also numerous cases of the opposite happening, people holding guys cause they are supposed to be back soon, but end up taking ages.

I think it looks pretty solid he is out for long enough to warrant him being an immediate trade. Only reason I'd hold is if you have 2 other guys in your team that you want to trade out that will lose money this week and you can still afford to bring in the two guys you wanted.

Barring new information, he's a trade for me - 50 points on the pine is way too many IMO, even for 1 week....

    Any news on Gordon?

Brimson is cheap as chips and IMO needs to be starting in that team somewhere. Gold if he's starting fullback. 4 starts at FB last year for a 50 average, currently priced at <30.

The other guy worth keeping tabs on is Luai. When starting half last year he average 73 Smile 2 games though a 48 and a 98. Priced well enough to consider though I reckon if there are injuries as you'd expect he plays 12.

JFH stocks look like they rose again. His scores warrant serous consideration IMO. Averaging 52 or so but still priced about 5 below that. You could do worse trying to boost round 12 stocks.

Also I still find Elgey strangely appealing. Kids priced at 20 and as we saw this week can hit 50 on a good day. Could be in line for more KM if they put either Sironen or Koroisau in the halves. Pretty decent round 12 playing cashout

    Anyone else on peoples radar?

I think its more related to Rapana's healing powers than Raiders giving any false information.  Some athletes do have better recovery than others. In 2015 All Black Waisake Naholo was ruled out of the World cup due to a broken leg few months before the comp but  6 weeks later was named in the squad due to his super 'healing power'.

Need to see previous history of Bateman's recovery to have a better understanding.

I have been thinking about it though it feels like chasing last week points.

He was in my thoughts at the start of the season as a set & forget ctr but then Nikora's stocks went high and then Bateman happened.

Is Mitchell going to have a 'coming of age' season? I am inclined to think so.

Also Tedesco in second last game isn't filling me with hope - probably be scared to run in case he slips - scores have been super erratic this year with 3 below 40 and 3 above 60

Weather is meant to be great until Sunday, then rain.

I was tossing up between Garrick or Simonsson as my final cow to start the season, read that Rapana is due back much earlier than expected, so I went with Garrick.

The NRLPhysio tweet was confirming what the Raiders had reported, rather than just his opinion.

    Bateman's a trade for me.

I agree he makes it look so easy plus he gets the extra gk points & the way the Roosters attack & score tries that's 6-12 points.
