What are your thoughts on the following trade options:

    A) Burns + Bird > Smith + Xerri
    B) Rava + Bird > Teddy + Xerri
    C) Burns + Okunbor > Cleary + Xerri

If I go A or C I have to play Rava in my 17. I have Morgan and CHT at HLF. Bird currently not needed in 17 but is in loophole rotation

cheer welcome bro. I like (a) because Smith will kill it tonight. I think the Storm will thrash the Warriors & sure his tackles & kick metres may be lower but his attacking stats will compensate for those.

I like A mate - mostly cause you will get an extra game out of Smith and he is a lock for your end of year team.

Also, while Okunbor has been a bit f a Bust the last two games, he could just as easily hit a score that propels him to earn a bit more cash and give you a round 12 player.

Burns is a sell IMO - $400k+ way too much tied up for nothing.

Thanks mate. News that Burns is still a few weeks away means I think he needs to go. I’ll just have to put up with Rava for a couple weeks, unless a decent cow emerges.

Yeah, I've gone cold on Whitbread but mainly due to price/options for my team. If he was base price this week then I would he more interested.... tbh I think he is an ok risk if it works for team balance etc

Cheers for the reply lads, I believe they will score similar points this week - low thirties/high twenties. Looks as though i'll loop and wait and see.

I'm liking my team, I think Morgan and/or Hughes are due an upgrade, but neither are urgent trades.

    Thanks heaps!!

Team looks pretty good man! The only thing that stands out to me are Brown and Keighran killing two potential money making spots (and Mikaele almost effectively in the same boat). I'd look to grab someone who will make you some money, preferably someone who will play 12 as well. I have a soft spot for Fotuaika but the rumours of him being stood down again are a concern.

You’ve the same issue as LB. no gun hooker. Worse yet... No backup hooker
Why do it to yourself when you have money in the bank?

I’d fk off Bird and Vaughan... Tolman to prop. cook or smith in, and captain
Rein back to #14 where he belongs

Nice team Finchy. I agree re Morgan & Hughes as both have good match ups this week & should score well. When I look at your team I think your cash generation needs a boost with Mikaele, Brown & Keighran in your emg's. You could bring in a couple of cash earners to get your cash generation going again.

Yeah, I'd risk him if my other three EMGs were solid. But my feeling is if you already have a red dot, and or have guys like Host/Mikaele etc, then adding another potential dud is a scary prospect.

    In a heartbeat.

    Not a gun
    Not a cow
    No R12
Averages a good 10-15 points less than them, and is never a captain option

Finchy you are running with no cover in HOK, HLF or WFB. Does that not worry you. A couple of injuries/late withdrawals and you could be stuffed

Morning All, thought I'd share my team. Liking the look of the side but looking to save some trades from now on here till first bye round (Only saved two at this stage of the season). Any issues that need to be fixed asap.

BTW how good is a two day turnaround this week, really looking forward for the Roosters v Dragons game.

    Cheers.

I'd go Bird to Smith (Bateman to CTR) and also drop Keighran for a cash maker

I have both Keighran and Sele hanging around. One is becoming Xerri. Other can't become a gun, so it's either find a cow (best case Lomax does get a start, but not betting on that) or hold a trade.

Only real way to get Cleary in is Garner or Morgan out, but might be better holding trade.
