Bateman - Due for a 60+ game and could run rampid around the bonzos?
Nikora - Could be a smokey if he nabs a couple tries of some SJ short balls or maybe some TA's to Xerri?
Ponga - Could find a lit of gaps around Carty's edge?
Teddy - Stepping up for a big game for the GF rematch?

I'd stick with Cook mate. I am.

Good thing about being that cheap is you can never be hurt too badly.

Waste of one trade should be worst-case - ie. As long as he is 14-17 at best, or you have some FRF cover, you’re grand

    Okay I have to ask.

Do I swallow my pride and bring in CHT this week instead of Ponga?

I went with Xerri last week and got it completely wrong. Leaves me with 360k to get him next week.

Problem is I'm taking a punt on Sivo for long term gains

No mate, go Ponga. CHT is a very worthy addition aswell though.

Yep, that's the other thing to consider.

Buying player x vs player y when it comes to different positions =

    player x + player a

    or

    player y + player b

Those player a & b scores are important.

Is any of what I'm saying making sense any more? It's hard to tell haha.

This is why I'm bringing in Ponga this week.

lots of other tempting options, but getting Sivo out of my 17 and Ponga into it is the best single upgrade I can make.

Now everyone watch as Sivo gets another 72 on Monday

Yeah I have a bit of a feeling he will back up with a 25 or something.  Or get injured.

Thanks @LB and Fortitude, yeah it’s friggen hard to pick. Twal is really pulling me in and I’m hoping that Ponga won’t get too out of reach(until I can cash out Sivo/Rava to upgrade Lawrie/Capewell) Also like to think that the rest of my team can cover Sivo plus hoping he pulls out a score of course. Maybe I’m just being obnoxious but I do tend to have a top heavy team and then sort out my WFBs last. Currently ranked 330(really want top 100 this year)

I'll avatar bet that Haas goes over 50 as long as he isn't injured.

Currently ranked 8503. Probably dont have chance to get near the top this year, so should I focus on H2H and give up on bye rounds?

No. HTH is a cop out, do you best and make aiming to do as well as you can your challenge for the year. Start out aiming for top 1000 which is very achievable and go from there.

Is it the right time to move Murray on. High BE from lots of attacking stats the first few weeks. Now he has to score 50+ every week, playing 60mins a game, which he has only been doing from a try/line break every game so far, surely unsustainable?

A lot of people seem to be thinking about trading him out. For me he is been one of my better players this season and plan to keep him around long term.

47 isn't a high BE for a guy averaging 55. In fact the only time he's gone under his BE this year was last week.

After last weeks efforts and looking like getting at least 50 minutes i think 40+ is definitely on the cards. Not sure how playing Sunday will affect the team though.
