a few weeks in that role and he will be very juicy when he comes back into five eight eventually for those who can trust him. at potentially sub 400k it would be a no brainer at 5/8th

Ponga better play I still need to trade him in before the game...

Sure, people will be chasing that score but I might be more tempted to bring in AFB and ride him until round 12 before swapping him with Twal for round 16.

Will have to see how much cash I have left over after bringing in Haas next week!

The last 2 weeks Twal's minutes have been inflated due to injuries but fair play he made the most of it. He's got such a huge motor & work rate.
I also agree re AFB. He's averaging basically the same as Taupau at 146k cheaper.
Milchy is correct. If you want to find the truth you follow the money trail.

Like the tattoo bit, everything is open to misinterpretation if you fail to look at context. I could find 50+ examples of bible verses that are regularly misinterpreted and used to condemn on both sides of the argument

Bottom line is (from my beliefs not everyone's), we are all sinners and we aren't the judges of others, and ironically for Folau to think himself above others is considered a sin. His job is to love others and show the same grace that his God shows him, and what he said sends completely the wrong message. I'll leave it at that because this isn't the place for a religious rant that no-one wants to hear!

Folau was morman, but converted to pentecostal Christianity (Hillsong) in 2011.

I see him as making a play for the next phase of his life - he won't play professional sport forever, but being controversially outspoken in this way sets him up as a power player within Hillsong (guaranteeing him influence and money for life). Will not be surprised to see "Pastor Israel" in a couple of years time.

Aside from Rd 1, he's had minutes of 54, 66, 53 and 69 so whilst his minutes might fluctuate a bit from game to game he does appear to be getting a decent amount. I'm happy to own him if he averages 55 as my logic for bringing him in this week was that even if he doesn't prove strong enough for my final 13, he looks like he'd be a great 14-17 bench option in my final team at the VERY least. Good scores and covering FR and SR in case i get an injury (which is especially important in those later rounds when you may not have trades and potentially no depth to the squad).
Not that AFB is a bad choice either, as we spoke about in the podcast he's beasting it this year.

How many is too many non-playing cows to have at this stage of the season? I currently have two (Simmonson Vomit and Brown) but keep seeing other priorities to trade out.

May be better to cut your losses ASAP and bring in someone making money to restart that cash gen. If you have to hold a 20 point scorer to sell a non player i would do it

Didn't she post on social media last time implying she agreed with what Israel said? They belong to the same church so I would say she has the same beliefs. She is just smart enough to shut the fuck up about it though.

Simmonson is likely next cab off the rank (We could pick up any number of injuries that would cause a shuffle and have him in, or Cotric or someone could get a call up for Origin in the absence of TTrbo) and Brown has the unknown about his return (which could be good or bad) so it's not the end of the world.
I think it depends a bit on your ranking, how many trades you've used so far and what the rest of your team looks like. Its not a great position to be in certainly, but if like me you're well behind the pack, picking up some points in your 17 might be a higher priority than correcting it. If however you're towards the head of the pack, it might be better to think long term and look at guys who get your more cash so you can get that final 17 earlier.

Yuck. Nothing worse than someone being self righteous with poor motives behind it if that is indeed what he's playing at. If this was true though why not wait til after the world cup or a little later in his career?

Also, mods I'm happy to ditch this convo as it's hardly on topic. Just say the word

Q1. Pick 2 from Lawrie, Capewell, Cartwright
    Q2. Sivo vs Ravalawa

Need to make these calls today to be able to loop in Haas' score

If it cheers you up @deathbywarriors I started this week in the 12k's with Napa, Bmoz and Burns in my squad, after already getting rid of Keighran last week and I've only managed to ditch 1 of those 3 this week so I'll still have two non scorers.

    5 in the pen tonight!

    Rein, Arrow, Sele, Morgan, Hughes

I would count 230 from this lot as a success (thats 46 per player). I am also attending the cows and Storm game tonight. You'll hear me screaming my tits off after Fox makes a 90 metre breakaway try.
Not sure if mentioned but Searl expected in for Seve or Papenhuyzen

Oh yeah for sure, not discounting that. He's a good option regardless, and I'll be torn on who to bring in. Just my initial thoughts to get through byes. I see Twal as a good 14-17 option for any final team. FRF averaging 50-55 with DPP.

Now is the time of year to be focused on making money. Make those trades now setting yourself up with a bit of cash ready to bring in guns when they bottom out.

Carrying one red dot is fine. Two red dots would be concerning at the least. Three red dots and you're in trouble.
