    Lucky Ponga plays before Tedesco or Gutherson because I'm weighing up 1 of those 3 for my wfb spot. If Ponga misses the game although they have come out & said he'll play then I will buy either Tedesco or Gutherson.

    Like the tattoo bit, everything is open to misinterpretation if you fail to look at context. I could find 50+ examples of bible verses that are regularly misinterpreted and used to condemn on both sides of the argument

    Bottom line is (from my beliefs not everyone's), we are all sinners and we aren't the judges of others, and ironically for Folau to think himself above others is considered a sin. His job is to love others and show the same grace that his God shows him, and what he said sends completely the wrong message. I'll leave it at that because this isn't the place for a religious rant that no-one wants to hear!

    As WL knows, its all about money. And the other bottom line, if you do want top speak out against gay people, make sure that the CEO of your major sponsor isn't a campaigner for gay rights.

    If he stayed the same defensively but lost the attacking stuff for a bit you wouldn't feel so aggrieved owning him. I wonder if teams have started targeting that side more after seeing tape or something and it's likely to continue or if it's more just tied to the ponies slump in general.

    I think hes kind of trying too hard a bit. He is so keen to do well but has lost a bit of confidence with these bombed tries of late and then is trying to make up for it.

    I don't have a problem at all with him being terminated at all. He's essentially just said EVERYONE is going to hell. There are ways to voice opinions whether right or wrong and he's had an absolute shocker. No-one wants to hear it Israel and he's let his own faith down IMO

    Keighran -> CHT

    R4
    Pangai -> Ponga
    Host -> Haas (was going to be xerri but the minute I saw Haas named to start, made the switch)

    From working for the knights and with Dr Halpin, he will inject anything that moves when it comes to footy players

    So out of that, the short version is nobody really knows if it will get him back quicker but they are trying it anyway

    My understanding is PRP is an option in some tendons where cortisone isnt.

    They're both an embarrassment. FWIW I don't think they can pick her but it doesn't matter cuz the Ferns are shit anyway

    You mean make sure he is and the sponsorship is up at the end of the year so you can get out of your contract to go to Europe only have to play half the year, get the international season off and earn some serious coin where there isn't a salary cap. When it comes to money he's always been all over it.

    My Trades

    Rd1
    Croker + Radley -> Tamou + Lawrie

    Rd2
    Tolman + Holland -> Bird + Burns (OOF)

    Rd3
    Keighran + Mahoney -> LLewis + Rein

    Rd4
    Tamou + Napa -> Haas + Twal (wew lad)

    Gotta take the good with the bad i guess. I now have 314k ITB to bring in another gun next week and likely double trade once again to either drop another injury from the team or kill off a dud and get a bit more cash.

    Going to keep my eye on Gutherson now because I won't be able to afford Ponga + Haas for Bird + Brown

    Plays R12 and is also DPP HLF/WFB but obviously got a lower ceiling than Ponga at FB

    Might be able to afford Ponga + Xerri but would say Gutherson + Haas is probably a better combination

    Bird could be on the chopping block for me, at 470k he offers the best cash-out option out of my non-earning cows (I still have Burns and Brown sitting on the pine).
    I'll need the cash to make some upgrades and get some gun gun gun

    Yeah more or less. Cortizone has been shown to even be harmful for tendons. It's best use is for reducing inflammation like garner's shoulder recently, or failed attempts in friend's shoulder (different injuries). For example of how widely it's used (I don't agree with it's level of use), 6 knights ISP players had one before the game against the dragons last week before the game. Madness

    I also remember a couple of posters on Sportal years ago who would tell us they'd see him out drinking and his excuse was something along the lines of I'm no mormon on the weekend.

    That was a long time ago and I'm not even sure he'd deny it to be honest. We all change and grow but most of us grow up not down.

    Maria Tutaia's silence is deafening. I like to think she's a bit more aware than she was last time this happened with Izzy sharing his bigotry with the world. A lot of kiwis will be expecting a reponse from her and maybe even from Netball NZ.

    Yeah time has come for me with bird. I hate owning and kick myself for buying him after 2 rounds.

    Will definitely be going the other way though and turning him into Bateman. Big fears this week that’s bateman tears Parra a new one. Missed some serious points out of him

    Yep, Bird pretty much bang on his BE means he's an easy trade out. He's only really had one big score. Nikora moves into the centre spot alongside Bateman and Haas comes onto the bench. Haas potentially gets DPP in round 7 or whenever it is if he starts at lock again which would be even more handy.

    That will be the most popular trade after lock out.
    The second trade will see a bit more variety, I'm sure.

    Agree Twal played well, but he also played 69 minutes. Assuming the Jennings injury messed up rotations a bit you'd think he continues to average 55.

    Sure, people will be chasing that score but I might be more tempted to bring in AFB and ride him until round 12 before swapping him with Twal for round 16.

    Will have to see how much cash I have left over after bringing in Haas next week!
