    Lane > cht
    Brown > Ponga

Means I play cht at Half, Ponga at wfb

    Or

    Lane> Ponga
    Garner > okunbur

Means I have to play Sivo at wfb, okunbur on bench. But $140k itb

As a lurker, sometimes poster...I'd have to agree that while I don't agree with Rab's politics, he does add a lot of entertainment value. He does know his league as well (we'll forgive his blatant Bunnies bias).
When do the mods let him back in the playground?

As for the discussion regarding Friend; "a bird in the hand..." as the saying goes.
If trading an injured Hooker allows you to pick up 2 fallen guns who are on the rise in Ponga and Crichton, it's a no brainer as far as I can see. You won't trade them out (except for major injuries) and you'd be looking at Capt. Cook and CS9 as your final Hookers.

all this Rabs talk is making me nostalgic for the cranky old flog.
I vote for his immediate release from the ban jail and reintegration into forum society.

In fantasy circles, its already Wednesday and I still havn't decided whether Okunbor is too risky to miss. Imagine if he scored a 60 and I wasn't on that '100k in 1 week price rise' pale

Also, someone on Renegades posting (without any source whatsoever) that Ponga has had a close friend pass and the funeral is in NZ on the same day as the knights game. Take his info with a grain of salt.

I've more recently realised that this idea that the right can manage money a lot better doesn't really ring true.
Steven Joyce is probably a very good recent example of this.

Direction of what is done with the money is again, a whole different issue though.

Don't start me off on Steven Joyce. When in government he was asked on newstalk zb why are you undertaking mass immigration to fill local jobs he said it was because most of the beneficiaries fail drug tests. A week later the drug testing stats came out from winz & only 3 beneficiaries had failed a drug test in 2 years. So he blatantly lied.
It's interesting that those that are for immigration in NZ haven't admitted the anti-immigration people were right after the Chch shooting. People in NZ that were against immigration said based on evidence re mass immigration in Europe & the subsequent terrorist attacks in France, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, etc that this would happen in NZ & it did.

What do you guys reckon about either 1) Bunty or 2)Bird to Angus, or 3)AK to Xerri?

Its annoying not seeing Bunty get good minutes - the team looks much better when hes on, and he's got twice the prop impact of Blair, and hits the eye better than LAM at the moment too.

But if he's not getting the minutes then it doesn't make sense to keep an R16 middy around, just hoping for an injury or a pretty-likely pack shuffle. (althought this leaves me with only Sele and Fif as FRF.. arg!)

Bird is on the block because of many, many CTR covers, and his cash will start to slow soon. And R16.

But if we reckon that Grand Gus is not quite right yet, then he can wait a week and Xerri can come in and make money that AK won't.

    Thoughts?

I could get Angus instead of Ponga this week.

But then I'll need to play Edwards, I don't think I'm that brave haha

PODs like Bunty are great when they are working for you, but really bad when they are working against you. Would be inclined to trade him but depends on overall team composition

If you are going from Rein and Friend, to just Rein, then you haven't really lost much backup (short term at least)

    Afternoon Fraser.

Maybe if anti-immigration people (one in particular) didn't shoot immigrants in cold blood and commit a terrorist act in the name of anti-immigration, the terrorist event predicted never would have happened. Funny thing about self-fulfilling prophecies, they tend to come true.

When the people warning of terrorist attacks and the people committing the terrorist attacks come from the same group of people, I'm not sure it is of much value to claim correct predictions.

At the last census there were less than 50,000 muslims in NZ, to blame the problems on them is disingenuous at best.
