    But short answer: No, i don't think LBateman is very likely to affect Hudson Young, but you are right to be concerned about his job security.

    Longer answer: Right from the trials it's seemed like LBateman has been out of favour with the younger lads being preferred. Not to mention he plays in the middle rather than an edge. What would concern me is the rumor that Tapine is pretty close to returning and that we have guys like Murchie as other options waiting in the wings so how patient Ricky will be remains to be seen. Especially as out next two games are roosters and bunnies. To add to all that Simmonson has been named on the bench, but we've pretty much never run a back on the bench in his entire tenure, so it begs the question as to whether it might be a smokescreen. There is Murchie in the extended team this week so it could be a late swap.

    Tapine's sister in law hosts the NRL fantasy videos now and she said he is hoping to return early. Early being 4-5 weeks.

    Pretty keen to get on tapine as a bench/18th man once he bottoms out

    Could be a 45-50 average player for 450k

    With 3-4 weeks to get fitness, check his role and bottom out for picking at round 17

    If you could guarantee me Young will start (and play decent minutes) every week until at least round 12, I'd probably go him.

    Otherwise I'm thinking Deaden/Turpin
