What has happened to Wade this year, injuries yes but still only averaging 36 in non injury affected games?

Maybe Sharks not scoring as many points this year? Not sure

He was/is an attacking player, without looking at stats I'd assume his attacking stats are down compared to last year.

Even if Jake hangs around as 18th man netting me a 40 incase of injury late in season I'm okay with, at best he plays 80 again and goes above 50 avg.

I'd have enough trades to get Cook back in along with all my other Top 17 need

I believe the reasoning is Cook misses R13, R17 and likely R18 reduction due to backing up and probably playing 80 in origin 3.
    Guess its

    Taupau 56.1 playing 5 games between now and R18 - 280.5 points
    Cook 63.6 playing 4 games between now and R18 - 254.4  points
Cook 63.6 playing 3 games between now and R18 and backing up in lesser capacity say for 40 points - 230.4  points

you might be right on just going RFM - Taupau but I did want to keep RFM for R17 which is why I guess going Cook - Taupau and getting Cook back later made some sense

I lik you JFH trade pal, Marsters the far safer option but what about Ramien?

Yup, ok. don't mind the justification on the Cook trade mate. I don't see him having any major problems backing up in rd18 personally but it definitely could happen. I just think the kid is young enough, hungry and with such a big motor that he'll handle it.

Honestly, the only thing holding me back on Ramien is the fact that I spoke about him 6+ weeks ago and told anyone within cooees distance to get on him and then didn't myself. Now I look at his price and I tell you, regret is strong in this one. Hating the thought of paying that kind of coin for someone I should have bought in for peanuts a while back. Now I figure if I'm going to pay that kinda money for a CTR I want him to be DPP and with a little more consistency. I may yet go that way, depending on the coin scenario to get Friend in along with my other trades.

I'm not sure on keeping Isaako or JFH. My team not organised for the round.

    Cook
    Fifita Arrow
    Tolo Crichton RFM
    MBye Reynolds
    Mitchell Fonua
    Ponga Teddy Thompson

    Smith Murray Martin JFH

    Isaako Griffin Coggar Fonua

Have 10 pre trades which is solid. 17 trades with 30K. Thinking

    Isaako - Doueihi
    RFM - Taupau

Also, JFH may become Friend, which means I could get TMM instead of Doueihi, but I don't really want TMM.

With the luxury of Fonua, Mitchell and Marsters, am I right in thinking trading Isaako over JFH. Don't really want to punt either as Isaako is a top backup, but with the players playing not sure. Could easily go RFM and JFH, but then that would leave with with too many backs as EMG I think.

Anyone care to share an opinion? Cheers.

I have 22 trades left this week, crap ranking though. 22 is a good amount yes? Should be able to move up the rankings, already have 10 players this week that's without bye planning.

Going to consult the oracle now and look at the team planner! Surely he can go 42-45 from now until end of season? Great price

I'm more worried about Round 14 for Cook. Titans and travelling 48 hours after his first Origin is as good a reason as any for an 80 minute hooker to get rested.o

Personally I would be going all out to make up ground then mate. 14 this week will be more than 90% I reckon. Keep max trading through to Round 17 and maybe have another 14. You'll still have more trades than most come Round 18. I think it's a big opportunity.

Jesus Finch! Did you just decide to fuck fantasy right off and have a sabbatical for 6 weeks!?! There's guys on here with 8 trades left mate, so yeah, 22 kinda puts you in a pretty spot to make a run home. Gonna be hard to catch the top lot but then as long as you improve on last year who cares?

Need him to back up to make the most of the trade if Cook plays 18 I don't think its worth the trade out and back in as we both know injuries inbetween and those trades run out real fast, If I knew for sure he wouldn't back up I would do it!

Also second thoughts on Taupau. Averaging 56.1 but he has gone under that average 8 games out of 12 played so far...52, 48, 39, 40, 51, 39, 47, 51 his Ginormo 104 and 80 which I feel are tough to replicate again and all he needs to do is fall into that 75% failure to beat avg range and his bye coverage value takes a hit and moving forward he is still priced well above his current average also (62.6)

I might save the $ and go Surgess and hope he lifts/doesn't get injured/suspended and beats Kapows R13 score because that's were the most value is.

Maybe even Wade and hope he gets near Taupau this weekend for a $415,000 saving

Friend may be good for this week and next but I don’t see him as a long term option. Radley will be off the bench and stealing his minutes.

Why would you prefer Doughboy over TMM Wolfy? Neither of them are going to be keepers, one has better security than the other (barring a Coote masterclass this weekend) and the same one will make far more money. It's a no brainer to me. Especially if it allows you to bring Friend in this week.

Graham doesn't go close to Taupau. Especially coming back from a hammy. Taupau has gone under that average but regardless, it's his average and it's keeper level. You bring him in, he stays for the season. Same can't be said about Graham and Burgess is a liabilty. Albeit one with upside.

I see what SI is talking about re rd14 for Cook. Makes me think more seriously about trading him but I think I'll just hold for the week and see what happens in rd14. If he gets rested or omitted altogether then I will reevaluate come rd 17. Personally, I still don't see it. I can see the thought process but don't see it happening.
