I was really quite interested in the chat about living in China and other SE Asia areas, hoping to hear more.

A bit off topic but there's a couple of regulars (not naming) posting the same questions "should i bring in x, y, or z" 30 odd times within a week. Im all for helping new coaches and giving my perspective on a particular trade (eg Mitch Rein) but constant request to be spoon fed is annoying.

Not personally attacking anyone, just wished the forum was more opinions/fantasy related news than "hey dude, can you predict the future and choose who i should trade in/out"

x isn't that fantasy relevant as he is just not going to get the minutes to post decent scores given his role in the team.
y is probably the better bet with a high PPM.
z is a short term fix as q is back next week so z likely to be dropped from the 17 altogether.

    Have you considered w?

Have you guys seen any of the talk on Arrow playing SOO?

There's been a couple of bits in the news about QLD having him high in the radar this year.

It didnt even occur to me tbh (probably my hermit view). I luv the bloke but was counting him in my bye round numbers - like most I guess as everyone has him Very Happy

I think people that are quite high in the rankings sometimes could lay tone it down a little in the amount of questions. Not pointing fingers either but sometimes people doing so well can come across like they are low in the rankings and don't really know what they are doing.

I do love the amount of discussions though and varous trade ideas do make me think of options I haven't even thought of.

I am jumping on the Endeavour with Captain Cook for the first time this week.  You have been warned.

Although I do like the sound of Tolo against the Titans.

I think he will be very close. Probably 18th man if he doesn't get in.

QLDs forwards in game 3 last year:
Napa, Wallace, Cooper, Gillett, Mcguire R: Hess, Papalii, Glasby

    So this year, of those:
-Gillett will miss out through injury.
    -questions around Hess/Papalii form.

This year Matt Scott returning and seems certain to be picked for Game 1. Felise Kaufusi a real chance, and he probably takes Gilletts spot. Guerra may be a chance too.

Can't see anyone else that would be in the mix. I reckon Arrow is a better chance than Guerra.

I know I said this already, in a previous thread but you’d think if cook plays as well as last week against the raiders, bulk points will be had

I'd love Arrow in there to be honest. Although, the talk of Hess missing out I feel is a bit unwarranted. He played well enough for his first Origin outing last year in limited minutes. He deserves to keep his momentum rolling. Felise would be awesome too. All three could go in IMO. I wouldn't pick Scott. He'll be the Myles of game 1.

I remember your post in the last thread about the Raiders, and yeah, they are not looking like a very fit side at the moment. All of them have been looking gassed very quickly. Cook could really cause some trouble in the middle.

Is there really questions around Hess' form? He's playing a different role this season for the cowboys, but I didn't think he's really dropped in individual form from last year.

I'd still think Guerra is more likely to be picked than Arrow - they've got McGuire at lock, and I don't think Arrow really fits the typical Qld bench prop/20min lock mould.
