No use planning anything with another 5 games and a bunch of training sessions to get through next week.

Can see the appeal of getting perhaps the set and forget CTR this year though.

    Is there such a thing?

I really want to get rid of NAS and Griffin. Was planning to do that next week but I was hoping for better scores.

Also have to deal with Fifita so not entirely sure what to do

Aitken's the first name to come to mind when talking keeper CTRs, considering very few average 40+.

    2017 - 39 average in 12 games
    2016 - 43 in 22
    2015 - 42 in 22

Last year's injury really the only thing that scared more people off to start. His current 43 average is in line with past performances and should get what you pay for at 616k.

I've picked up JCroker this week.... cheaper than Aitken, similar output

You are right in that you get what you paid for, priced at 42 after lockout.
I just would not back him to score another 5 tries in the next 6 games to be able to keep that average (avatar bet anyone?). As somebody said, if you already have him he is pulling his weight well enough, but I would be extremely hesitant to bring him in at the moment

At the moment I am rocking Isaako and Hiku. With the plan to bring in Latrell next week or the week after. Just to set in stone my CTRs.

I must admit I was wrong about Latrell this year as I thought he would be inconsistent.

Yeah his goal kicking really is what keeps him afloat. With no GK duties his scores would read 24, 27, 29, 52, 26, 51 (average of 34.8 ) and make for far less impressive reading. He would no doubt be booted from all our teams at this point.

I guess I'll get Latrell in instead of Aitken! No idea how he passed me by, he's cheaper and plays 13 as well. Guess I was desperate for something solid in my CTRs and Aitken was just my default response

I've had Latrell from the start and regret not getting Aitken. Latrell does nothing all game every week and jags some points in a couple of plays

I've also had Mitchell from the get go and not unhappy with him. Different scorer to the likes of Aitken and probably not as consistent but it's those big plays we hope for that make the ride interesting.

Started with Latrell too. He'll pull out an 80 soon.

I've had Aitken from the start but wouldn't be trading him in now. Wait and see if he drops in price over the coming weeks. His score was helped so much last night by the late try.

Play Hiku or swap with Havili or Maloney? This wet weather could go either way but probably more negative for the likes of Hiku?

Lol. People looking out trading out Aitken, here I am sitting here with Joseph Manu and Inglis.

For me, the comfort is that I didn't trade any of them in, I started with all three.

Personally I don't care how he gets them. Only concerned about what he averages and so far quite happy really. Edit: can't complain about 41.5 average in the centres.

Latrell is reasonably safe even if he doesn't score through base stats. I'm glad I had him from the start. I'll likely keep him and bring in Aitken as my last 'gun' later in the season

Havilli a decent shout maybe? Won't play 78 again but the week before I think was the first with Hingano in the rotation and Havilli got 56 minutes which I guessing he would have got last week also except for all the injuries. He didn't score well in the 56 minute game but had an uncharacteristic four missed tackles and two penalties. Just something to consider I guess. I have to play him anyway.
